I hope they start offering transfers back and closing some servers down.
This is gonna get ugly in 2-3 weeks.
Evidently people needed bank space and just maxed out their character creations.
I always blamed it on the layering. Stormwind and Ironforge feel so empty at times, and some questing hubs barely have any people on it.
Hopefully when they get rid of layering, I will see more people.

Guess you picked a crap server and didn’t ride the tides on a real one. Every single quest hub, every single city, every single npc grind spot is camped on Whitemane. There is no peaceful area to solo. Even waking up at 4am thinking "Now I can finally grind in peace! Nope. 3 other dudes had that same idea. Never not a queue since launch. Not sure what server you picked or jumped ship to, but bad choice.

I see too many people actually. I was leveling an Alt in Wetlands and there were dozens of people in all the quest areas. I swapped back to my main and the high end zones were also heavily populated.

I think it’s layering. I think that the algorithm they employ to populate layers is flawed…like a lot of the layering. That’s why people on the same server can give vastly different accounts. I went to IF today for the first time in a couple weeks of questing on Kalimdor and the plaza between bank and AH in IF on my layer alone looked like the peak of Vanilla. My biggest fear is not that there won’t be enough people, but when layering is removed, will there be too many people. The game wasn’t designed for mega server populations in mind. Could have some real pain points.

What game are you playing? Every server I’ve been on is so full that people are shouting at each other for taking up “their” aoe spots, and kill quests take forever to grind out.

Hardly a troll, all be 3 servers have a queue, streamer loser servers.
Its nothing like it was 2 weeks ago.
Even retail questing is busier.

Chill and wait a while, populations are fine and it hasn’t even been a month.

Blizz really let me down with this whole xfering to a new server to play.
The chat doesnt even move some times.
