♻ Classic "Restart" after Naxxramas, and F R E S H Servers

irrelevant…if they do it tomorrow or 4 years from now those people would still lose their names…some of them will still be around …some may take a break and come back …again they would be pissed if they lost their names while they were on vacation.

The only bad thing about launch was how terrible queues were. Layering was fine. There were some bugs with it but no economy came even remotely close to being “ruined”. I’m not arguing for or against new servers after phase 6, but layering was/is fine.

So you just want to leave dead servers dead instead of helping their populations? Weird stance, but ok.

I am not saying that either I am saying what do you do about the people who PAID MONEY for their names?? 2 people on 2 different servers both paid money for their names and have played = amount of time who gets the name when the servers merge?? again I can already see the outrage the demand for a refund and so on.

Think blizzard would care? They don’t see it as paying money for a name.

it was sub for a chance to reserve a name …the implication that you will get to keep the name you reserved…aka paying for a name.

It’s all cool. You are easily amused. Blizzard loves that.

No.

Classic is not a progression server and isn’t going to become one.

Whether Blizzard decides to launch a separate 1-70 TBC server is something no one knows.

Yes, I’m not denying that, but that isn’t how Blizzard will see it.

All they will see is server populations being too low to be sustainable on those realms and hopefully figure out some way to combine them. Though they will probably just “connect” them.

Be more petulant and shallow please. How about we judge people’s comments based on their content, instead of their origin or appearance?

We don’t know what Blizzards plan is. Best case for everyone is leaving classic servers alone and opening TBC that we can transfer to (not copy to, can’t have your cake and all) and maybe some FRESH classic servers on the side to keep the subs up for classic.

oh god crz no that is a bad idea as well.

From what the first whispers suggested after the announcement, they consider classic a side project that wouldn’t shut down even if only a few dozen people played it.

Blizzard generally, not the classic team, sees classic as bonus content to retail. Or at least they did before launch .

not CRZ, actual connected realms functioning as a single realm, but you don’t lose your name.

CRZ is a completely different beast entirely.

It’s all money to Blizzard, so they will do what they will do to keep the money coming. TBC is about guaranteed at this point.

that is what CRZ’s are…realms connected…

No CRZ is crossrealm zones.

CRZ is dynamic, it’ll take people from any server that is the same zone and merge it together.

Connected realms are permanent. Once you connect realms they are functionally a single server.

CRZ doesn’t merge things like AH’s.

Get out of here.

We dont need private server wannabes floating around.

I hope they implement ladder seasons, every year the servers get wiped clean for classic all over again (or add brand new servers for the fresh start).

If they just leave it they’ll lose money, Blizzard doesn’t like to lose money so they probably will create some newer realms that start on p1
