You dont understand that most hardcore rankers literally run the entire zone so 30sec isnt very long when they come back to you.
Everything is tied to your battle net account. If you share your b net with someone else you are the brightest bulb in the 2019 keep yourself secure age.

But it isn’t optimized honor gains.
No honor if they’re grey. If they’re high enough level to be worth honor, spending 30 seconds CCing them (if you are even capable of doing that) before fighting them is a huge waste of time and gives plenty of time for backup to arrive.
You will not get the maximum honor by griefing flight paths, especially not low-level flight paths, and what you are describing is a non-issue. It will happen sometimes, because rogue players are like that, but it will not be an endemic constant problem.
Ya… having BiS weapons pre-BWL that won’t be replaced till Naxx 40…
You may want to rethink this and have the rank 14 gear be on a vendor a bit later on.

no one is gonna have r14 before BWL, except maybe 2 or 3 per server, who literally pvp 24/7

It’s apparently a large issue on private servers, and we can’t be silly enough to assume people will not get ideas from things like that.
There will be gank squads camping high traffic areas without a doubt.

It’s an issue on private servers for two reasons.
One - They do not give the honorless target buff for landing from a flight path, apparently. This is an enormous change.
Two - Private server players are a skewed demographic of hardcore players, who also tend to be the biggest griefers. They’d grief each other even if they didn’t get honor from it.
Yes, there will be groups trying to find high-traffic areas to kill other players in. That’s called “world PVP”, and it’s working as intended.

Private servers have a bunch of European players who play for 18 hours a day. I doubt there will be that many people who can afford to do that on the US servers.
I see a lot if comments about rankers killing off lowbies. If i remember right, anyone below 55 (assuming the ranker is 60) they get no honor for killing them. Soooo no you wont see RANKERS farming low lvl toons or in those areas unless a lvl 55+ is there

it is 5 levels below or 1/6 of your level, whichever is greater, if i remember right, meaning 50-51 will give some minor honor to 60s

52 and up give honor to a level 60. Which is quite a few zones.

LOL just how many people do you think will get to rank 14? It takes like 4 months of grinding 12 hours a day and I imagine most of the classic crowd will be old nostalgic gamers on their 30’s 40’s with families and jobs. And I also don’t think the raid scene will be that competitive since classic raids are pretty much figured out a long time a go and the boss mechanics are a joke compared to modern WoW.

i have 2 wow accounts under my bnet account, mine and my girlfriends, they both use the same credentials to log in, but you have to use a drop down box to select which account you want to log into when you go to log in.
