OCE servers would be an absolute must. There is a large, long term community that could easily fill at least one dedicated PvP and PvE server. Having them based in Australia would be great as blizzard already has infrastructure in place.

We need to selfsticky this in order for there to be any hope of it being read.
If doing this is unnecessary because blizzard already know about this, they could damn well acknowledge it and put a lot of peopleās minds at ease and save a whole lot of unnecessary threadspace.
Bump for oce servers 
Iām a bit annoyed they havenāt announced anything yet regarding Oceanic servers. They felt the need to talk about RP-PVP despite there being far less players that play on those servers.
Iām 98% confident there will be Oceanic servers but that 2% is driving me nuts.
I moved from the US to NZ three and a half years ago and have slowly been transferring my retail characters to the OCE servers.
Leveling and doing dailies on the US servers is tolerable but I wouldnāt want to raid with that ping.
Plus finding people to play when Iām available with the time difference blows.
OCE servers please.
I had 120-180 ping when i played on american servers in vanilla. It wasnāt until Cataclysm that my ping stayed over 220 on the same server.
120 ping is basically what oceanic players get on oceanic servers anyway these days.

I work third shift until around 8AM central time. Am I better off playing on an oceanic server?
If youāre US based, no, youād be working during the time most Oceanic guilds would be raiding.
8am Central time would be about the times OCE raids finish, unless you find some late night raiders.

Next blue post belongs to us Oceanic players, we need this. We have guilds to plan. I need to build a computer. Iām not going to bother if there are no Oceanic servers. It will shoehorn me into playing a ranged class because melee is a nightmare with high latency.

I donāt know any Aussies getting a ping like that. In Melbourne itās mostly 22-24.
In Sydney it should be even a trifle lower.
40 - 50 in Adelaide. Would love to play with less then 20ms but I donāt think that will happen without moving to Sydneyā¦ or California.
