Classic Mist of Pandaria & Legion

Do you think Blizzard will skip Cata and Wod

for these two great expansions MoP and Legion and make lots of $

Tbh I think Blizzard will most likely waste it’s resources with cata and it’ll be a big decline in the player base from what they have in wotlk

what do you guys think?

i really enjoyed MOP. the premise might have put a lot of people off, but the execution was really good IMO.

What’s wrong with Cata? Amazing zones, Firelands and Dragon Souls… I cannot understand bias against it other then talent rework.

Removing 5v5 arenas
Stat changes
Talent changes
World rework isn’t that good in my opinion
just wasn’t a fan of this expansion

I think Cata and WoD classic would actually go over well if they are on a 1 year timeline. Maybe MoP as well since all 3 of those expansions only had 3 raid tiers.

WoD is a raid loggers paradise, which seems to be one of the prime target audiences of classic. It also has probably the best PvP gearing system.

I’d rather them both condensed into the expansion after them, and just give us double the phases for each expansion. I know that would definitely keep me playing after I got bored of Cata. They could maybe accelerate the Cata content a bit, seeing as there isn’t really an expansion’s worth of it anyway. That would make me happy and keep me subbed.

5v5 is a chore. get it out

Yeah but I think they will lose alot of players just my opinion if they release Cata over the other expansions

I don’t think a vast majority of players would consider the world rework a classic experience when they can literally log onto retail and it’s the same and alot of players just don’t like it

Retail is available right now, it seems like that’s what you want.

Maybe, who knows.

You can experience about 99% of Outland and Northrend on retail as well since almost every single quest has been maintained, but that didn’t stop TBC and Wrath classic from coming out.

I think it’s more than just the zones.

Lol  just because I enjoyed Mop or Legion doesn’t mean I’d enjoy playing shadowlands

You can go play MOP and Legion through Chromie Time and do all the content, I’m not sure what you mean by shadowlands

It’s the reason why I am many others left and didn’t return until Legion.

World revamp destroyed all our favorite old zones, dungeons, and places (In retail we seriously need Zidormi or another bronze dragon to revert the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor to pre-cata).

Vashjir was horrible, Hyjal was on fire, Deepholme was meh, Twilight Highlands was ok for the most part, Uldum was the best imo.

And Dragon Soul… last boss was horrible.

Anything that adds weird shi** such as pandas, monks etc shouldn’t be added to the game. If you like childish stuff you can still play minecraft.

And you can go play BC and WOTLK content through chromie but yet here you are.

I used to but now that Classic is out I don’t need too anymore.

MoP lover here, but I can’t hate on Cata either. It was a solid expansion that just had a final tier that went on for waaaaay too long. From my end I feel cata even edges out tbc, after my experience of the past 16 months. I’ll gladly play Cata to get to MoP.

You love an expansion that lost 30-40% of the playerbase? Uhh…

The only way I could see WoD Classic happening and being successful is if the devs added cut content to it such as the Shattrath Raid, the story, and moving our garrisons into other zones, in turn said resource developments could be added to retail as well at the same time (because why not).

Monk/BlackBelt/Fighter is a classic fantasy class though. Just not the kong fu panda part…

Unfortunately a good chunk of MOP was cut off, that being Wrathion’s Cloak quest which was a major part of MOP.
