That is why I think they are going to give it a few weeks before anything is changed then people will realize that LFG is not melting down the planet and it will be left alone perhaps with a few developer side tweeks.

Did you watch the videos??? The add on spams chat just like any other chat spam add on and then when someone without the add on wants in the group they whisper the person using the add on. Then just like other auto invite add ons this add on will automatically invite people to the group who whispered the word /inv to the person with the add on…
Oh all of this can also be done with Macros… too… just in case you guys did not know that… I can literally one button invite, guild invite, remove from group, spam chat… SOOO much with the power of macros…

Macro is in the game^^ this addon is not. + i saw other video that people with this addon can find easier groups because the group are listed there.

its sort of charming, i havent seen this level of sodium, since since, i dont honestly know, its off the charts !
Innkeepers and Meeting stones put you in a Q for a dungeon… when 5 people were in the same Q at the same level range for the same dungeon it automatically put them in a group… The ONLY thing it did not do was check for roll… making it so useless that people rarely used it… making people think that this function was not in the game… when in fact it was put in Vanilla by Blizzard staff…

For you to do what you are saying with macros, you need to target that entity.
The ClassicLFG tool did not, in fact it did not even need chat to do it’s job. People that had the app, could use the app by itself, and it would not use any form of in-game communication. THIS is what caught the attention of the devs.

You know where the REAL social interaction takes place… The people who cried the loudest against ClassicLFG used the exact same arguments against Layering…
“BUT MUH SOCIALS” the lost that fight and now want their pound of flesh…
OK what I am saying was there was never an addon where you can put queues in and after all of it, people automatically entered the group. The point you are trying to make is there was a similar mechanic in the game for it’s time but we should have an addon that makes it better for classic. This isn’t what the re release for vanilla is about. You take all it’s flaws with the good and it’s the mentality people should walk into with this launch. A LFG addon wasn’t even a conceivable addon for it’s time and you are wanting to advocate to have an addon that was better then in game mechanics for it’s time

I wouldn’t mind if Gatherer was banned. It gives an unfair advantage over people who aren’t aware it exists. Basically a mandatory mod in order to compete with gathering skills.
