flying is the most popular feature in retail. subs started dropping exponentially in WoD when Blizz started their anti-flying crusade. so much that they had to backtrack and added pathfinder.

- I donât care about people whining that flying kills ganking. If I want to PvP, thereâs battlegrounds, and raids on Stormwind.
- I like flying. Made the world more expansive to me, because I could explore more.
- The Blizzard of today is not the Blizzard of 2004.
- WotLK is my favorite expansion.
- I want my blood elf back.
Seriously, though, Blizzard did fine with a known quantity (1.12), but there are many of us who donât trust them to do Classic+ without first showing they can make games like they used to. TBC and WotLK were the most popular times in the gameâs history, and theyâre known quantities as well. Bring them back, and see if, during that time, 9.0 and 10.0 show that Blizzard has relearned how to make a good MMORPG.

It killed the sense of community. In an MMO thatâs everything. Without it, itâs just a single player game with very smart AI.

People wanted VANILLA, not any of the other expansions. We wanted the REAL game. It doesnt make sense to wipe out all your progress from Classic when levelling up in TBC and also making all Classic raids irrelevant.
Plus everyone agrees CATA is bad so what happens when reach to WOTLK? or to TBC?
All players who want WOTLK and TBC can switch to retail and do arena and enjoy dungeon finder.

Skettis, TK, the plateau northwest of Shat where a lot of mats were farmed. Skettis had a FP and I think there may have been one other obscure way up there, but what a complete mess it would have been if those were the only way.
As many as it takes for blizzard to notice people want classic+. No one told you to read it.

I sincerely hope you get the Classic+ you desire, but I just canât imagine it ever happening.
Blizzard didnât start classic with the intention of opening a brand new avenue of development. The development of new original content carries massive risks and development costs that opening TBC or WotLK servers doesnât have. Classic exists in part because the community does not trust Blizzard to create new content.
Is re-packaging old expansions a finite path? Yes, but the purpose of Classic was never to restart the franchise. These are museum pieces.

I donât trust Blizzard to touch Classic WoW or make any changes or expand it at all in anyway without severely messing it up.
The old blizzard is gone. They will never be able to capture the magic again that they have created with the 04-08 era of WoW.

Everything can be the same, just we take a ground mount and flightpaths to get to our destinations and we group with only those on our server
You realize cross-realm grouping wasnât introduced in Wrath, right?

Iâm so tired of hearing people complain about World PvP as if it were ever the main focus of this game. It wasnât.
The fact is, the broad consensus is that the game was the most fun from Vanilla to WotLK. If enough people want TBC and WotLK go for it

Lol what killed wpvp was giving everybody selfhealing and make some classes tankier than tanks.
Flying over maps looking for ppl to gank was the funniest. Not like wpvp matters in any kind of way.

What happens to open world PvP when you put the most rewarding PvP in instances? Hmm.
I was there for the Southshore/Tarren Mill skirmishes, and when BGs came out those outdoor battles came to a screeching halt.

You can make your arguments for Classic+ without making BS claims that nobody wants BC or Wrath or that itâs somehow bad if Blizzard decides to go forward and do BC next.
