Joining in the support for hunters, this is absolutely rediculous. Theres no need for the timer to be 500ms, and if you are absolutely insistent on keeping something as silly as this in, 50ms should more than suffice.

Please Blizzard fix this. My biggest regret in WoW history is playing a hunter in classic, you can change this.

Bump for a blue response! Small fixes like this will make classic better.
The class is currently so broken and playing it consistently feels so bad and couter-intuitive to the class design i know blizzard wanted it to be. Please fix!
I thought I was crazy, thinking the game just didnāt fire an auto shot when I felt like it should be. I stopped playing Hunter partly because of this horrible feeling.

Other classes have mechanics that arenāt really true to vanilla. Why keep a horrible feature that is over-tuned?

Also, if that is true, revert those mechanics, donāt add additional changes.
If you want to play a responsive, powerful hunter, retail is for you.
In Classic, hunters are the bottom of the barrel, tranq shot bots and DM:N farmers.

I could feel that auto shot was extremely clunky in some situations and I often find myself standing there thinkingā¦ WHEN IS THIS AUTO GOING TO GO OFF?? This explains a lot.
I definitely think the current state of auto shot is unacceptableā¦ even if it matches what it was like in actual vanilla. This isnāt a change that would have an impact on class balance, so why not fix it?
Ah well, just wait for TBC. Itās when Hunters and Warlocks are top dogs. Though I imagine a lot of the Warriors/Rogues/Mages will reroll to them.

Please fix this Blizzard! And I echo the request to revisit ranged AP and world buffs as Hunters face a massive decline in competitiveness as a whole class (not just one spec) moving into AQ.
