The black lotus problem is insane. Prices are inflating like crazy. People are hording out of fear of lotus availability… We need a solution to this problem… I’d say your average persons gold farm is about 50g/hr… There is no reason someone should have to farm 6 hours worth of gold to obtain a single lotus for the sake of flasking… its insanity.
Please post possible solutions to this problem and hopefully blizzard will take a look at this.
My possible solutions are:
Implement the SOD herbalism changes to Classic Fresh so that the supply is increased.
Make flask buffs boonable (increasing the efficient use and decreasing overall demand)
i got a solution: don’t buy em they’re a luxury item
or petition blizzard to make more servers. one big megaserver is not how classic WoW is supposed to be played. if you insist on keeping one big megaserver, super expensive flasks are just what you’re gonna have to live with.
They should just go the SoM route. Anniversary has dual specs so its already a radical departure from Era. Go the distance I say. Make it more distinguishable from Era and let it serve as a reminder for Blizz that they’ll never have to do “Fresh” again.
I think that’d be fine. Adding a completely negligible “difficulty” adjustment that the vast majority of people wouldn’t even notice and wouldn’t need to account for in any capacity in exchange for cheaper flasks? I’m sure most people would be fine with that.
fresh servers are a great idea, megasevers are bad.
if blizz was going to address megaservers they would have tho, so the only option imo is the som fix, and i also dont care about about an increased difficulty.
its only a mess because they never give us enough servers.
fresh servers are the best servers. they always are, and always will be. if there were enough servers to support the playerbase without needing to use layers, and each server was its own layer, classic fresh would be perfect.
this game was enver intended to be this populated and the server issues constantly prove this
I’m sure a few very vocal people would complain ad nauseum. People tend to get emotional about things that have no actual impact on them. For example, have you seen that guy that’s been on these forums still crying about dual spec existing? Pretty wild how people get so upset over trivial things.
