Again the swipers are going to swipe and p2w without gdkp. You’re not getting rid of them or the gold farmers the argument is a paradox
People who don’t have the time to farm gold and consumes are still going to play the game. They’re just going to buy gold. You are not getting rid of the demand at all. You’re just demonizing a community that plays through the content every week.
The GDKP community on Whitemane is almost exclusively people running gold selling businesses by hosting Naxx GDKP 5x per week. Others are people who are getting pyramid-scammed by the Raid Leaders into making 5 warriors to run 5x Naxx and get a “cut” of the action. The rest are whales.
GDKPers are the least casual players in WoW. Most of them are literally doing it as a job.

Don’t be hyperbolic, its not a difficult concept. If you don’t have time to play the game then don’t play. If you have to P2W to have time to play then play on Era where they allow it, don’t try and ruin ANOTHER iteration.
Posting stuff like this that has been proven to be false just makes you look willfully ignorant. The reason for its prohibition, as explained by the developers, is its adverse effect on Guilds and the economy.
You have a version you buy pixels on. Let those of use that don’t like P2W have an option as well.
This. I participated in a Wrath GDKP and the leader was selling gold himself running dozens of GDKPs a week, and making a living off of it.
Are you not reading the messages or is your mind just made up already? How is raiding for an entire year and earning a little bit of gold each week pay to win? People who have more good get to bid higher, You put in the work at the raid times that you can actually make and eventually you get your chance.
How is being an earner buying ? Your comprehension issues doesn’t make gdkp bad.
You won’t be relevant in a guild run if you can’t make their raid every week. But you can jump around into different gdkps and earn every week.
You’re completely missing the element to gdkps where people don’t buy gold and play every single week till they earn enough to bid
All I need gold for is repairs, consumables, enchants and other things here and there. I don’t need to buy gold, and gold buyers are not holding a gun to my head telling to ‘buy gold’. The argument that ‘people will buy gold’ falls flat.
but here is the other side of the coin…people ‘will buy gold’ for gdkp raids because in that environment ‘is a need’.

What? We KNOW that GDKP is bad for economies and guilds, there is no guessing. The developers that make the game and the only folks that have ALL the information have stated this flat out. No amount of gaslighting on your part can change this. If you want to swipe for pixels, you can in Era. If you want to play the game without p2w you can play the new Fresh Classic servers.

Pay to win is 'i’m a fresh 60 but I have 100k before stepping foot into a single lvl 60 raid (non-stop peacebloom farming I guess) and I’m ready to get fully geared.
Again it’s isolating an entire community because of something that can happen within it. If you remove the community you still have it. People will AFK at entrances and get carried by guilds they paid. You’re not fixing the problem you’re making thousands of people not want to play.
go to any post about gdkp with gdkp players and they claim ‘I farmed’ or ‘when i farmed’ or ‘I sell everything i farm every week to gdkp’.
which one is it? can’t farm or can farm? have the time or don’t have the time? You all need to get together and get your story straight.
And what % of the population is that. You think gdkp raiders that love the game and play year on end are all dropping thousands of dollars on gold?

GDKP raids is the most fun way to farm golds with alts, and I have 0 problem with getting rid of every gold buyer and gold seller. We know there is always some people in GDKP buying golds but I’d be willing to bet it’s a minority. It’s the same thing in real life, you can’t really add curfew for everyone past 9 pm until 5 am every day, just because that’s when violent crime happen the most.
GDKP’ers in shambles. lmao

Most gdkps can’t clear naxx fully on era there is no room to bring in fresh 60s that are useless. alot that do clear are speed running or focused on clear times. Again you are punishing a very large community for a small amount of people who aren’t going anywhere when gdkps are gone and will continue buying tons of gold to p2w
