The problem is not Era, Iâm not even saying âNo to freshâ, but until Blizzard straight up banns the gold buyers this will be the situation within 3 to 6 months,
Just 8 months ago economy of Era was very healthy and effectively fresh, this was very quickly ruined by gold buyers.
Perma ban the buyers.

Fresh without a permanent solution to the Bot and RMT issues is just a pay increase for gold sellers. Look at HC servers, gold there is still botted up, bought and sold and costs more than regular Era.
Solve the bot and RMT problems first. Then do Fresh.
People blame âplayer created problemsâ on this topic all the time. If blizz actually cared more about the integrity of their game vs sub counts the problem wouldnât exist.

Who cares that someone brought a real life parallel into it? The fact that some do understand that inflation is always a source problem is very important now days. I donât see a problem with criticising the treasury sec or the president and their bad take on the situation IRL either, because in both cases the source of the problem is too much liquidity added to the market; this is always the source in a fiat economy.

The only difference is im not buying my house with in game currency. Yet. Rate inflations going the dollar is gonna be worth less than a gold piece.
Currency works the same across all mediums. It retains value through scarcity. The more of it there is, the less each piece of it is worth. The less it can buy.
Think of bots as the money printer if it helps you. Theyâve been going BRRRRRRR for 4 straight years, unchecked. Do you honestly want to try and claim that has zero effect on the in game economy as a whole?

Edgemasters are 9000-11000 gold right now on Whitemane. In 2005 they were about 900 on MalâGanis and about 800 on Burning Legion.
