Classic Era servers are ruined, we need FRESH

It costs over 5k just to by a Freezing band on classic era and over 11k gold just to get edgemasters.

The economy is completely ruined by bots, gold sellers, and GDKPs on era.

We need a FRESH and we need it now.

And even more importantly, forever classic WOW shouldn’t be a thing unless you stop RMT. The economy just gets ridiculous over time.

The only future for classic WOW is seasonal FRESH servers which stay around 1-2 years then get retired. If people want to keep their characters move them to retail.

Classic Era servers are currently abysmal.

I mean all of that isn’t what ruins it for me in Era right now… It’s the abysmal state of anti social people within guilds or pugs…

No one wants to group up for pug dungeons while leveling much unless gold is involved or people in guilds dont want to organize much of anything every week because they are on other games or just shut you out of the cliques.

It’s sad being a mage and sitting for a ZF post for hours and hours with other ZF listings posted from OTHER dps or need DPS and you get shafted.

Questing parties are also non existent unless in a deep friend group.

A server lasting forever in phase 6 is not a natural/organic or even a practical way to play how the game was meant to be played.

It wasn’t bad back in the day, granted no bots or heavy gold selling was present… Aside from the gold issue there is a big lack of social interaction anymore on Era.

They’re not ruined. They’re just old. 4 years of farming with or without bots will naturally make everything inflate. Fresh is needed just because a fully progressed server, while fun in its own way, is stagnant.

Now if you want there to be no bots, blizz would have to be way more heavy handed with bans. I don’t really have faith in them to do that so even fresh will be plagued with bots.

Blizz messed up the moment they offered Clones. Clones ruined era.

Nah.

No clones would just delay the inevitable

The solution to gold sellers isn’t banning bots, it’s banning the people who buy the gold.
If Blizzard actually enforced their rules and actually provided customer service for the game Gold buying wouldn’t be nearly as rampant as it is.

I want a fresh server too, but the same thing will happen unless blizzard actively polices the game that we’re all paying for.

Solved by banning people for buying gold.

Free Xers to Retail should be an option, but I don’t agree with retiring servers.
If they do fresh, they should consolidate all servers of a given type(PVE with PVE, PVP with PVP, etc) into as few servers as possible.

I don’t know why there’s o much resistance to Blizzard combining all these empty/near empty servers into one server.

Classic servers are mostly fine unless you’re stuck on having specific high value BOEs.
Classic’s economy would self-correct if Blizzard actually banned people for RMTs.

Still shilling fer that P H R E S H.

Restarting Wiped Realms/Servers for Classic every time the economy reaches a state where people have x-amount wealth. Is just crazy, I know people love the feel of Classic and every time something new is done to Classic people jump on it. But only so many will just want to constantly restart over and over again on fresh realms for the sake of starting from scratch and having a new economy. Because simply the same thing will happen over and over again.

Classic WoW no matter what era a person is playing at the moment, it was always bound to hit this mark and be like, what is next for Classic in general. The is the great divide among players. What is the future of Classic, what is the best path moving forward. Because if nothing is done at all, things will over time grind slowly down and drop off. Yet of you change too much moving forward it will also have a negative effect on keeping to the whole Classic charm that drew people back to it in the 1st place.

Because people want small servers. Part of the whole thing with a ruined economy is these small servers don’t suffer it. It’s all guild based for the most part, and very ‘community’. If you merge them, you remove options for people to play elsewhere and get a different experience.

I guess FRE$H is the answer to everything =/

I’d like them to cap the servers at OG Vanilla population with enforced Faction balance on PVP/RPPVP servers.

What cluster are you playing on I just hit 60 on white mane and never struggled to find a group for dungeons or quests and have met a lot of social people.

PVE clusters on Mankrik etc.

The server is ruined because someone wants more than you are willing to pay for things you do NOT need? Seriously?

Maybe people should layoff the Black Lotus and try the game with less buffs so it doesn’t turn into TWO full time jobs to play the game you pay to play.

Reason why i’m looking forward to the blizzcon announcement (most likely) for the new season.

Leveled all the way from 1-60 on Era with a brand new character… and did every single dungeon sometimes multiple times… so unless you’re on one the absolute dead clusters or playing during low pop hours… I find this extremely hard to believe.

no what we need is the bank of ironforge to increase interest rates and bring down that inflation.
