Curious to find out the ruleset for Official Hardcore. The add-on placed too many restrictions for me personally; I like being able to interact more in-game.
Can’t wait to hear the details of the PVP change. There’s no way I’d do the full grind again; maybe they’ll convert it to 2.0? They’ve got to be making it easier to rank, right?
I’m fine with changes to era, there’s a demographic that wants some sort of classic+ (don’t argue semantics with me on what you call classic+) and that’s fine.
I just wish they would release a couple fresh 2019 style servers again. There’s also a demographic that wants as few changes as possible and if 2019 classic is as far as blizzard is willing to go, then I’d take it.

WOW!! Catering to the hardcore group just so they can dip into the next SOM and leave out ERA changed for no good reason I for 1 can’t stand these hardcore people if you want it hardcore then do it, don’t make the game change for you, that’s not hardcore in other games when you choose hardcore they don’t make separate servers and changes to the game to cater to them, why is WOW doing it? Not to mention ERA pvp just got back to life and you are going to shoot it dead like really this is just pathetic excuse to try to rid ERA and push people away, time to start looking for private servers again this is ridiculous, pvp was the last hope of the game surviving but not if you kill it for 8-12 weeks. The people who have worked so hard to get people interested in it are just getting a big slap in the face as the way I see it, Nothing good will come of any of this, BC the real pvpers already know you don’t act on any of the reporting or cheating in BGS, so we know your not going to fix anything that’s needing to be fixed only ruin things for the people who are going to stay around when the next SOM comes out!!

As I said, in Classic Era. You’re referring to pre-era Classic.
You misunderstand. There is a bug where sometimes your honor isn’t calculated after the Tuesday reset. You would have to wait to log in until Tuesday night otherwise your honor wouldn’t be calculated that week. They sort of fixed it but it still doesn’t really work all the time.
Can the developers please look into the cloning service and making a comment on it. There are hundreds of forum posts with users asking for it back, many with great arguments, and others with counter arguments.
Resetting honor in era seems a bit strange, hope there’s a good reason for it.
I think a big part of the appeal of era was that the game would be static and people could do stuff at their own pace.
The pvp system blatantly doesn’t allow for diehard but time constrained people (who don’t raid) to get any gear or anything. At this stage of the game the pve gear is superior in many cases, they should introduce a system whereby the expectation value for the number of items of gear in time period X is similar between pvp and Aq40/Nax. Making the gear something that can be chipped away at would be an enormous improvement for the many diehard BG players who cannot substitute working IRL for gear.

I ranked from 0 to 13 in 5 weeks and got all of my PvP gear. I hit rank 13 in January. I’ve been raiding since then and I still don’t have everything I want from raiding on this character. Ranking is far easier than raiding in Classic Era.
If they’re actually changing the honor system in Classic Era I would guess they’re reverting the change which gave us SoM ranking.
Maybe wait until they say exactly what they are changing it to before going left field?

Ok. Well have you ranked in Classic Era? I have. It’s easier than raiding in its current state both in terms of the required time investment and the required skill. Casual dads can do it.
