Why do you keep bringing up AV? I said they need to make AB (Arathi Basin) the new meta.
Then you havenât played (classic) WSG at all, especially if you think using the jumps and consumes is âwrongâ and you still have never lost a game.

Arathi basin already is the highest producing HPH battleground. Noobs just rather afk in av. The honor is not good as the other 2 if you actually play them

I see zero distinction between the two, but by all means, since you clearly do see a distinction, elaborate on both.
Even basic jumps like the horde GY side jump near the portal, or the roughly equivalent one on the alliance side jumping up gy side just east of their gy spawn are pretty blatantly NOT intentional pathways for people to run the flag⌠Let alone the jumps directly through fences (or over the fence on horde side). No matter how you slice it, you are blatantly exploiting design failures in the terrain, and abusing pathways that where clearly not the intended design.
A lot of people love the âjumpsâ and they are extremely easy to do.
They add depth to the game map and it doesnât take much to explain why:
Without the âjumpsâ the flag carrier only has 2 extremely predictable paths to take for cap. Tunnel and ramp. Do you know how little a chance basic premades have when their pathing is so predictable? Jumps emphasize the importance of map control. Remove them and the enemy team has to take the same path every single time, every single game.
Also, blizzard hosted a tournament witu the jumps in and they didnât remove them. So itâs safe to say learn them or dodge the bg
If there were no jumps enemy teams would never even cross the map if I was running one of my previous teams. We would simply know the Druid has to be at A or B by default and weâll just sapper them down as 10 because our players donât need to cover the map

Love defending a flag carrier on the wsg roof. Almost peak gaming experience, next to summoning wolf riders in AV
I thought Blizzard patched out the real exploits and left jumps ones in that they are fine with.
My last few posts really are to call out a guy who doesnât either play this version of the game or just likes the AV meta and hates getting farmed in WSG on his alt. Either way, he is trolling this thread.
I guess heâs bumping the thread through so thereâs that.
If you are being honest about never even playing classic WSG and therefore no losses then why are you on the forums for a version of the game you donât play? I donât post on the PVP - Battleground forums because I donât play those BGs and therefore posting there would make no sense.

The winning team in that tourney didnât even play the game they just afkâed on the roof for the entire time, blizzard had to disqualify them. The game mode is that bad lol.

The winning team did not get disqualified. theyre my friends. The team you are referring towas âTY skeramâ and they got disqualified for having world buff. They 10 man turtled and trolled purposely. they did not âwinâ the tournament
