Between thinking the game is going to crash and burn if one tiny little feature like RDF is added, there’s peeps who think Heroics and raids in this expansion are Dark Souls tier content LMAO. You do realize this was back in 2004-2008 where most computers sucked? Not as difficult as u think it is, and especially doesn’t warrant extreme gear elitism.
Maybe if we stopped treating Wrath content like it’s rocket science and focus on our own gameplay than “muh social experience” then this community wouldn’t be so memed.

What did you get turned down from? If you did get turned down, what class/spec were you? Also, last but not least, when you were turned down, did it have anything to do with possibly being a fresh 80?
I’m not talking about me broski. But I’ve seen friends turned down for stupid reasons, just like being a Shadow Priest. I’m personally on an RP server so it’s not taken as serious, but in megaservers espec people are gatekept to hell and back there
Everyone gets turned down sometimes. Not defending the community but just stating the obvious. Maybe they didn’t want another clothy/caster because they are trying to get that last ring (cough Strat/UK cough) and don’t want competition. You get the gist.

Well I respect you for having a good debate about this. I do understand your perspective at least. I can get technical reasons, it’s just many incidents go too far.
I don’t think that was the point of the post lol. Also Classic isn’t a “real MMO” if you want to be elitist about it. “Real MMOs” from elitists back in 2004 were neverending PVP, if you die you get a penalty/lose gear, you can get soft locked at points, you can straight up lose progress and content, and some stuff can never be recoverable.
