They are not deleted, they are on the server they’ve always been on. That server moved onto Wrath.
Try paying attention in the future.

This is not true at all. I did not create any characters on wrath in 2019. I created my characters on classic herod US server. Now, I have 0 characters on classic herod US. Not very hard to understand.

Classic herod became a TBC server which then becamee a wrath server. Your characters are where they were. Not very hard to understand.

Nah he doesn’t have characters on Wrath Herod because Blizzard deleted that server for Wrath and force moved the characters to Wrath Sulfuras.

And then that server progressed to TBC and then onward to Wrath. You didn’t pay to copy that character to the NEW era servers so it’s gone. Get over it.

Not true. I did not create any charactrers on wrath in the first place. Also, i shouldn’t have to pay to not have my characters deleted. End of story. Not very hard to understand.

And not choosing anything was the choice you made. They followed progression. If you chose to do something you could have clicked on your character(s) and kept them 100% free on classic.

Not choosing something still has consequences.
I’m sure you knew about TBC coming out and that like back in 2007, the servers that started Classic in 2019 would move on to TBC in the natural progression.
If you had taken even a little bit of interest in your characters, you would have chosen Era but you assumed they would be unnaturally moved to Era and until recently would never have played them again.

This is the wrong mindset to have about this situation. Blizzard has repeatedly stated in the past that they would never delete characters even if you unsubscribe or take a break from the game.

I think you are mistaken. I did not create any of my characters on progression servers. I created them on classic WoW servers (specifically Herod US alliance) and today my characters are not on classic WoW herod alliance. My characters have been deleted and a clone of my character is on an expansion version of the game instead of classic.

Yep yet another thing blizzard got wrong. Players should choose whether or not their characters move on to the next classic expac. Not have that choice made for them.
