there aren’t any of my classic characters on the mail restoration support page. all my retail are though. And that page doesn’t have any options for “this doesn’t solve my problem, click here to submit ticket”.
So how do I submit a ticket when the auto-tools loop back on themselves without resolving my issue?
It wasn’t available during classic.
Did you specifically select the Classic mail return option, Winfurona? There are two different options.
This one is for Classic: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow/197/1872/solution

No, but it was not available until a few weeks ago for Retail either.
The Support article on it says it shares a cooldown with Classic to it indicates that the mail restoration service can be used for Classic.

My apologies i assumed it wasnt available because i didnt think it was there for classic so the whole true vanilla feeling.
It definitely wasn’t there in Vanilla, but we usually try to help with mailing mistakes when we can. Instead of needing to wait for a GM though, there is now a new self help option.
The link doesn’t go to it from the Support Article though, which is odd. I’ll pass up some feedback to see if we can get that updated to include both.

The Support article also, oddly, did not show up in a google search for “WoW Restore expired mail”. I got the link to the EU article and had to change the address to the US article.
what the hell that option was not there the last 3 times I fought that webpage before I posted here. well thanks for that.
unfortunately, there’s no available mail, so that’s all gone forever. (if you ask me why I kept my all my expensive crafting mats floating in the mail, the answer is I’m an idiot.)
Yeah thats a expensive mistake to make especialy on classic.
