Purchased a classic character transfer in game. Everything went through fine. When I tried to use it I was unable to select any servers. After doing research I discovered I am unable to transfer my SoD character from Living Flame to Wild Growth to play with friends. Why am I able to purchase the classic transfer but unable to use it. That is incredibly frustrating. If I cant use it then prevent me from buying it or at least give a warning that says “this cant be used on a SoD character”. Really wanted to play with friends.

Yes I discovered this after purchasing it within the game shop, not in the browser. In the game shop there is no notice to tell you what you are purchasing cant be used. A vague “restrictions may apply” is all there is. If there is a limitation then redirect the user to the page to purchase the item so you can list the rules if there is something that prevents you from using the thing you purchased.

You have 3 options
- post in classic general or ingame suggestion asking for it to be allowed.
- Ask for a refund thru payments in account management
- Wait for the dev to allow transfers no gaurentee when or if they will allow it.

Just to cover this part as well… that redirect is also there. In green, at the bottom of the same tooltip that mentions restrictions.
Shift-clicking as it says opens a browser tab of said restrictions.
