I understand we live in a world of #somechanges and there’s an honest drive to improve the overall experience and quality of the classic experience. I and maybe a lot of the community appreciate that you’re putting in the effort to live by that philosophy. However, I think some of you developers need a hard wake up call because the #somechanges you think you’re implementing are NOT just #somechanges they’re #majorchanges that I’m going to argue the silent majority of the players DO NOT want. We don’t want said major changes, what we want are some QoL changes not game changing changes. When will you listen and when will you wake up from your utilitarian approach of what is “good” in your eyes (not even the greater good at this point).
I’m going to say this now, you are actively seeking to destroy the classic community and the game in it’s entirety and frankly if it does fail in the end, it’s what you and the company deserve. Although, as much as you and your brain dead developer team deserve it, the players who play the game do not. So I implore you to reconsider some of your major changes or some of the ideas you’re trying to implement to stop the train of thought.
You’re not wrong, but had I been specific about it being metaphorical your argument and the flag that you’ve flagged on this post would’ve been irrelevant.
I removed the “slap” part and got instantly flagged again, by likely the same 2 people so it seems like it didn’t matter even if I had it or not, they just straight up didn’t like that I was making the point "Please stick to implementing #somechanges and not “#majorchanges”.
