Quick question. It’s been maybe two years since I’ve played WOW and I’m just now getting back into it so no judgy lol. I tried looking this up but no luck. Usually when you accept a quest it will show you on the map/mini map where to go for the quest but I can’t seem to understand how to turn that on in burning crusade classic. Does it just not exist and you have to find the location of the quest you accepted?
You need addons to show you, if that’s something you want.
Questie is a very popular one:
Download Wowup, it auto updates all your addons so you don’t have to do it manually, install Questie addon
So if I download wowup I don’t have to go through all of the steps to install questie into the folder?
I went and downloaded questie and the next step was to out questie in the WOW add on folder basically I followed all of the steps to do exactly that except it said to extract in the second step and I have windows which normally if I remember windows extracts by itself without me having to manually do it. Once I put the questie in the wow add on folder I exited of blizzard and logged back in went into the game and it still wasn’t there
The Questie add-on, when you need training-wheels put on top of training-wheels for a tricycle.
You actually have to read the quest and go in the direction they tell you to go, no map markers for the most part except a yellow dot on the mini map for a quest turn in.
As others said you need to download addons to gain the feature of map markers telling you where to go.
download wowup, no other option, watch a guide if you have to, think it’s really simple to use, it downloads them automatically into your addon foler so you don’t have to go through the big extraction process, and auto updates your addons too
