But hes quoting the guy talking about end game lol
You can find the community around too toxic and inaccessible without participating in it. The former turns you off from trying, and the latter prevents you.
Yea there are mythic 0s, 2s, 3s, 4s. Normal raidâŚ
When you claim a thing is âtoxicâ, but you donât even set a foot in the thing. Its dishonest.
Have you ever played arms? You might want to try it. It is slow as molasses compared to the other high on speed melee DPS classes out there.
What do you constitute as a melee caster? Is is a melee fighter who uses magic? In which case paladins, enhancement shaman, demon hunter, and to a lesser extent monks would qualify.
Also a melee caster defies the purpose ofâŚwell being a caster.
The problem with retail wow is class design.
Every spec has a million buttons that you have to tweak out on and spasm constantly to try to have fun. Canât look at the boss art, canât appreciate the room youâre in, you just gotta stay locked in to staring at your ability bar making sure you donât mess anything up. Itâs exhausting to do this for many hours and its so boring.
Its ridiculous the level that its gotten to, from DND where you roll one dice per turn, to now where you have to do 100 actions per second.
Na thats just forming opinions on incomplete information.
Survival?
Really?
I hate BM with the fires of a thousand burning suns.
Iâll just shelve the Hunter like I did the Warlock and the Druid.
Except that I did in solo content because having a pet tank > the damage bonus from MM.
Part of the balance is that melee have quicker abilities to deal with movement of mobs, etc. While casters dont deal with the movement melee has to deal with.
Itâs still like, 60 APM. Compared to Devoker at like, 36.
A caster that fights in melee, exclusively. Low range spell casts. 10yd fireballs!
So lets go back to spamming frostbolt as peak gameplay
Why would we throw away one extreme and go to another extreme, thats childish thinking
It sounds like you donât like the game or the community. Have you tried playing something else?
Not really. Most classes have about 4-5 core rotational abilities with CDs, Defensives, and minor CDs (think odyns fury or what ever itâs called).
And if retail players wanted the painfully slow experience they would be playing classic.
Tell me you donât play DND without telling me you donât play DND.
How many actions per second do you personally do in D&D?
No itâs really not. There are 6 core rotational abilities with cool downs mixed in. There arenât even that many procs compared to something like fury.
Itâs actually just as slow of not slower than devoker (depending on your build)
In which case we have the ones I listed for you earlier.
Rolling a hell of a lot more dice than 1 per turn. You are also comparing an apple to an oven. Two completely different things. DnD isnât a videogame designed to have constant active inputs like wow.
There are numerous other games you could compare it to to try and make your poor analogy instead.
Shaman out of crosshairs
How many actions per second do you do in D&D, just curious? You forum goers are the rudest people ive ever met
Playing the victim is GDâs favorite hobby lol
