Hmm not noticing any difference.

Seriously, though, why are people always asking for class nerfs instead of buffs for the class they play? This is more of a PvE question.

In PvP I can understand. I remember being mostly a PvPer during TBC through WoD and warlocks were insane. Particularly undead warlocks with their fear spam and death coil. It gave one class a clear unfair advantage over everyone else, so they needed to be adjusted. Same with death knights when Wrath first launched.

But in PvE, which is coop, it seems counterintuitive to call for nerfs instead of asking for buffs.

Because when aiming for balance, buffing 35 specs instead of nerfing 4 is stupid.

And completely changes encounter vs player power.

It’s about objective relative power of all specs to each other and the encounters. Not a selfish (buff me) mentality.

Stop chasing FOTM. It’s called “of the month” for a reason.

Second-worst tank in +20 keys, barely ahead of Warriors.
Tied with Warriors at the bottom in +25 keys.

But think of the poor no lifers who specially fotm rerolled and played 40 hours week 1 to specially gear an OP class!

Blizzards needs to respect their time spent chasing fotm every patch.

Same way Exodia should have never been touched from their launch, think of them rerollers!

I rolled this toon before it was FOTM. I picked it up when I re-subbed not because it was OP, but because I liked her look, and that was it.

I didn’t find out Havoc was OP until I started coming to the forums again and seeing all the complaints. I will continue to main this class and spec even after the inevitable nerf.

Because I have fun playing it. Weird I know.

Just remember to have some stones to nerf the meta mid MDI, can’t have OP classes run around trivializing the competition unchecked.

Some people have been playing DH since Legion ( I have + assassination rogue) the minute a class performs well, people start screaming for nerfs because “they can’t get invited” to groups, which is weird because those same players could run their owns keys but think they’re entitled to join every group they apply too.

Biggest problem with wow is

  1. Yall let random people who stream tell you that you and your class sucks with their tier lists.

  2. People chase meta and FOTM

  3. Yall forgot how to play and have fun and are worried about whats on the meter and who kills who first.

The reality that we all need to acknowledge is that brewmasters are just severely over performing right now and they need to be tuned appropriately.

I’d say nerf tier set damage by at least 25%, reduce hp by 10%, and nerf all other ability damage by 15%.

If these nerfs go through, then brewmaster will be in a good spot.

I was way too overly optimistic to test these changes. even in a cleave meta fdk is still the worst spec in the game. immediately went back to unholy

So ya’ll are just going to ignore the fact that DH is absurd in PvP right now?

They need tuning on self-healing, damage, or movement because right now they are the kings of all 3 for DPS.

Too bad there no monks in SoD.

Before any sweeping nerfs they REALLY need to fix all the broken aug hooks. BM assassination and havoc all have several abilities/tier bonuses that are not properly attributing parts of their damage to the aug evoker in the logs. We dont even have correct data.

The class dps balance rn is trash, some dps in the heaven and others below the ground. Then we have dhs or bms yelling unfort class like feral about his trash dps LOL and LOL. Lets not talk about augs still carrying high keys surv.

The people working on spriest need to be fired. Adding this many general buffs in as many weeks after a rework proves the rework was a failure. We all know that it was, this is just salt on the wound.

This should be applied to pvp. Shadow is god awful, we were designed around a 4 set that does actively assists the enemy team. The amount of blowback damage from SWD should be just enough to break fear/poly/hex. Nothing more. Those abilities need to go back to being low thresh hold breaks as well.

Bloody Warlocks heal for 2x what spreist does, passively. Does 2x damage. TF are you people smoking over there?
