You would think, but half the time, they forget they can tune them separately it feels.

the problem is they nerfed everything simultaneously. so our atonemnts dont last as long with radiance. they have to compensate us with something or how do we heal, because right now we cant. unless they change how atonement works or buffs the ratio that atonement damage works they have effectively killed the spec.

Disc already is bad for M+ and has been this way forever
Now even in raids its gonna be worse than anyone else

LMFAO, disc priest has been one of, if not the most dominant healer specs since WoD. Especially in raid. Pipe down.

disc was actually pretty good on beta and prepatch for M+ we werent top tier but i was doing 20’s with my friends

The only outlying thing about disc was that they could compete with holy priests on bosses like anduin, lords and rygelon. Raids are still dominated by hPriests.
its cuz disc caps out on atonement duration we can only apply it to about 17-20 ppl max so our ramp play style really shines in mythic raid where holy can just hit everyone but hitting a few buttons. also damage profiles of fights Sofo has alot of rot fights which is just more suited to holy.

They didn’t say these would go away with pre patch. So we shall see lol. I think the 25% aura nerf to enh is wild… Atleast give some context to it holy crap.

Not to mention their general toxicity.
Highly unlikely that they are tuning for pre-patch only.
The problem is that Disc is set up to be a ramp/burst heal playstyle and has been for years, and they are gutting the ability to ramp and burst heal apart from a couple times per fight. So, this fundamentally alters how Disc has been played for multiple expansions and is not a simple tuning change. Disc doesn’t have the mana or tools to be able to support a sustained healing playstyle, so I’m not sure where this leaves Disc.
