Class Tuning Incoming November 1

Of the 2 nerfs this is the one I don’t understand. Warlocks sitting over there doing 2k HPS without even trying but let’s nerf BMs tiny self healing, that they are giving up 2 talents and a defensive CD for. They could at least cause the pet damage, 80% of their DPS give or take, to give them leech healing or something…

The only real burst we had was wild spirits. At least aoe is looking solid now.

Some of these nerfs are too severe. My WW monk is definitely getting shelved and I guess I’ll play this guy for DF. :man_shrugging:

Yeah, I had to do the same thing in legion. Warrior just kept getting worse and worse, but I have several locks to choose from and they were godmode.

Nah, holy will be fine from the looks of it.

It’s already insanely strong, 5% is significant but not enough to destroy the spec.

Having done the math on current fights in Sepulcher at least, this nerf puts us down to between 18th and 24th/24 for all fights, next to classes that are receiving 10-20% buffs. I get that this was targeted at m+ and how dominant we were. But the solution was not a flat 25% nerf overall, this has basically killed ST enhancement in current content. Would very much appreciate another look at fixing this, because I can’t help but feel it got nowhere near the due consideration the WW nerfs got.

Agreed. But to make it worse the “hidden” dps gain from Windfury is well below the dps given by raid buffs :joy:

The changes have nothing to do with pre patch damage, it’s because of their damage in beta.

its 5% its fine. It was needed.

Why even have beta and alpha when you wait until release to make changes

Why are they still balancing classes based on current conditions when in a couple weeks none of it will matter.

I’m really happy Elemental is getting some much needed small increases. Lava Burst was definitely most in need.

That’s a pretty bold and rather positive outlook. It’s Blizzard, it’s going to take a couple months at least lol.

Windwalker is fine. It nerfs wind up being around a 12 to 15 percent damage loss. This just brings up back to to the pack.

Also I forgot to put this into my first post in this thread.

Is it weird to do a balance patch during prepatch? we have Covenants. Conduits, Legendaries, and Soulbinds still enabled during this time and we lose them when we enter the Dragon Isles and also as we level, our percentage of our stat gets decreased as we level.

Unless you have data from beta than thats justifiable but I still find it weird.

Good morning, the problem with the wind walker monks is that their damage in single target was very bad and I thought they had fixed it, with this nerf I have to say thank you ?
I think they do the nerf randomly without calculating exactly the windwalker problem .
Please I wish they could do a damage recalculation and leave it right, thank you very much.

ww was like outpreforming by a large large large % on the beta at 395ish ilvl.
