Nerfs are fine but please look also at dps specs doing double the damage of others.
Example warlocks doing twice that of MM hunters based on Mythic>95th percentile , Warcraft logs

So yet again, Blizzard is ruining something great for PvP.
PvP and PvE need to be 2 seperate entities. Why am I punished for playing normal content for people who want to fight each other?
PvP literally ruins specs EVERY SINGLE TIME. I wish it would go away. Honestly. IT does nothing good for the game besides ruining specs and causing massive knee jerk reactions causing more knee jerk reactions.
PvP literally needs to be its own entity within the game. Nothing PvP should be tied to PvE.
so you want to be unkillable in pve too? Thats not a game, thats just a mindless stream of grinding data.
Yikes, why do this to the tanks, we finally had some people re-rolling to it and having fun, why make it harder and create lack of tank players?
Seems like Vengeance got raked across the coals because of Havoc. Sigils were never an issue until Havoc got ahold of them.
Typical, 365 replies in this thread, some of them asking questions and 0 replies after multiple healing nerfs for classes. Nice community managing there Kaivax. Way to be a team player
Settle down man. The post is 3 hrs old.
Someones salty about the smol warlock nerfs kekw
No. These changes are not even close to going far enough. I’d suggest further reducing self healing and absorbs for tanks by at least 50%.
Playing a healer has been a nightmare because tanks being absurdly overpowered has resulted in them playing like idiots. I’ve never seen anything like it. Dungeons as a healer feel like babysitting four chimpanzees on amphetamines.
A tank shouldn’t be able to pull an entire room, have just about the entire group immediately die from the AOE damage, and then sit around and solo the place.
I definitely was not unkillable prior to the ungodly nerfs my class has faced recently in the name of PvP. They aren’t even doing the courtesy of what they do for other classes and making it only apply to PvP. Nope.
The question stands as to why it was even bothered to be given this way to us as character as a choice in the talent tree. Two of them are basically the first choices you get in the class specific tree. Now rendered completely useless. They were the same way the entirety of Shadowlands, but NOW, Now its a problem. Now we have to completely gut this.
These nerfs definitely aren’t small. Its the second time they’ve nerfed these abilities in the last week.
Lies. I’d literally clear Heroic dungeons in 3-4 pulls in under 10 mins for satchel gold as far back as Legion.
Last season we were clearing H Gambit in 8 mins or less, slowed only by RP elements.
Normals and Heroics have always been a joke for anyone actually playing the game.
I can’t believe you are actually whining about parse logs in MYTHIC ZERO.
Mythic. Zero.
MM sucks. Sorry. Good thing you have TWO other specs to play.
I can see that the devs are looking at the fact that tanks can pretty much do what they want to do in PvE content in M0, though knowing the season hasn’t even started yet makes these changes seem kind of extreme, don’t nerf anything before the season even starts because I have a feeling that when it does start and add the extra levels of difficulty to the dungeon you’re going to end up nerfing mythic+ because tanks won’t be able to take the damage of the beefed up mobs from the higher Level keys, not to mention you haven’t even put in the twist each season brings with affixes! Don’t forget you don’t even know if the new raid will be difficult or not yet! Now on to the PvP nerfs, if you want to beat a tank it Should be difficult for a single person maybe even two people to do it at one time it’s the reason there called TANKS they should be able to one v two people, should they be able to take on entire PvP team no, no they shouldn’t with the amount of CC an entire team should have, a well-organized group should be able to take one down with ease, (I’ve seen it done) with the proper Planning and execution of abilities. Honestly, I Don’t think that any class should be nerfed in PvP and I’m Probably the only one that thinks that! If you have to nerf a class there should be a very extreme reason for it, it’s the players involved that are the problem Not the class itself. Let’s take Guardian Druid for example, its main defensive CD is or offensive if you want to call it that is Rage of the Sleeper it reflects damage back to attacker, and increases the damage that the druid does about 15-20% give or take I Don’t remember the exact % so bear with me, if you don’t want to take that damage then when they pop it as the attacking player job to Recognize that its active and simply STOP ATTACKING AND KITE it’s that simple the ability will wear off after 12s, simply learn what each class can do and Adapt its that easy, don’t nerf a class because you can’t seem to adapt to the situation when the season starts and people begin to go into rated PvP if the teams get stacked THEN and only then begin to change the classes, because in all honesty it’s the player base that needs to band together to win or lose a BG or Arena Learn your class learn what the others can do and watch out for major plays, if you work together there shouldn’t be a reason you can’t take down a target. Learn the Game, PvP is supposed to be harder than PvE content because People are unpredictable. Don’t expect to go into PvP and dominate just because you’re playing an “overpowered” class you’re going to have to learn what they can all do to beat them. The pros did it so can you. It’s the Players that are the problem Not the classes themselves.
You need to make healers stronger then and actually balance them (especially non-druid/preservation). We were already feeling weaker than ever in beta keys and now with this you’re making tanks more reliant on us too… With the 40% hp increase, m+ scaling increase, tons of rot/group dmg in general, now this tank nerf so tanks actually require some babysitting again (in high m+ and raids, doing this kneejerk nerf based on silly m0 data only is ridiculous) and dps spec offhealing nerfs back to back to back with no compensation to healers it’s just too much. We don’t need all these changes on top of each other that ALL nerf healers and make their lives more miserable.
Healers are going to feel way too weak and pathetic this patch… we’re going to have to spam heals 24/7 and still struggle, drink all the time and be able to contribute almost no damage. Healer damage is already low in m0s when we dont have to heal that much… doing like 25% of a DPS dmg (10k~ vs 40k+) instead of half or so it’s sometimes been in the past, it’s going to be truly pathetic in 15+ keys at this rate.
Going to be a lot of healers quitting if they make us feel this weak, it’s not fun having the entire dungeon be on our backs with everyone reliant on the weak healers to limp through. This is a video game, we want to feel strong.
I like actually having to heal a bit more but this is going to be too stressful with all this compounding. HPS needs to be increased as does passive dmg contribution (since we have to spend way more time healing now), especially for non-druids/evokers. Everyone will be complaining when DPS queues are longer than ever because you made healers and tanks less fun and more stressed out, so less people want to play them.
PS Rip BRM, they were already noticeably squishier than other tanks, why nerf them equally?
Well, now your nightmare includes a lengthy queue wait because all the tanks who enjoyed feeling powerful just rerolled to WW Monk.
How about tune the leveling dungeons? Scaling is broken.
One is also below par and The other one is melee and equally bad.
I was playiing my BrM today and invited a WW to a mythic.
I was so happy to see a monk doing 50k DPS and I thought it was me. Sadly it was the WW. That class packs a punch!
Do you even play hunter? because im wondering what you mean by two other viable specs.
