Blizzard forgot Windwalker even exists.
If only the devs cared about data. It’s clear they haven’t investigated any actual data and their entire knee-jerk response is based on seeing a 5s clip of an ele shaman doing 20m on dummies with aug buffs and full Spymasters stack and taking that as the current state of ele in general. Laziest, most inept devs in the industry and these patch notes reflect that.

LOL Totally gutted elemental. They weren’t even on top by that much in ST. The AOE nerf was warranted for sure. But you just killed this spec 100%. PS Enhance will still be on top while elemental will fall about 300k dps in ST.
Also the QOL of have 2 instant free casts down to 1 originally 3 btw, is going to feel like dog water. Can confirm Blizzard has no clue what they are doing with some of these nerfs.
Also this is a 3 minute CD class they should have big dick damage during their CD’s vs classes cough Paladin cough that have 30 second - 1 minute CD’s pulling consistent high damage. But they dont care about actual usability it seems. Tank damage between CD’s and the Mid damage during 3 minute CD is going to kill Ele Shaman.

- Farseer: Ancestor Chain Lightning damage increased by 40%. Not applied to PvP combat.
- Farseer: Ancestor Lava Burst damage increased by 15%. Not applied to PvP combat.
- Farseer: Ancestor Elemental Blast damage increased by 15%. Not applied to PvP combat.
- Stormbringer: Arc Discharge now grants 1 instant cast Chain Lightning or Lightning Bolt (was 2).
- Stormbringer: Voltaic Surge now increases Earthquake and Chain Lightning damage by 5% (was 15%).
- Echo Chamber now increases the damage of Elemental Overloads by 20% (was 40%).
- Ascendance now increases the damage of Elemental Overloads by 100% while active (was 150%).
- Preeminence now increases haste by 20% while Ascendance is active (was 25%).
- Icefury now increases Frost Shock damage by 200% (was 150%).

You change the entire Hero Ability of the Dark Ranger for hunters and now that Black Arrow is a bit buffed to match other classes, y’all need it again.
Why can’t DKs get a nerf so it actually takes skill to play them and not just rolling their balls over the keyboard to win?

The amount of comments on here, or replies to comments, and the commenter is 8/8Normal and has 0 mythic key progression is laughable. You most likely have close to 0 understanding of even your own class or how it performs in the game at mid-to-high-tier skill/content. These tunings are supposed to be meant for PVE raid progression and mythic + tuning no? Then where the heck are they pulling their “data” from?
We have less than 1k guilds past 4/8Mythic yet we’re nerfing dps?? how about tune the bottom half of the classes and fix the healers problems(some good changes on this for 29th).
Otherwise this is another laughable tuning pass and none of the devs are playing the game or reviewing log data.

Just saying, inviting a hunter to a pug key with the current tuning (for BM at least) is like asking for a key to be bricked. There should never be a class that is so bad at AoE that they would go into AoE content using a ST build.
Do we, Shadow Priests still exist? Can you just cancel this class if you aren’t going to do a thing? Other than having no damage at all, we have 0 value in Mythic Dungeons. No stops, no silence, not empowering anyone, not supporting anyone… You are simply wasting our time. We are sitting and waiting when can we play the game?

How any shaman or DK joining M+ on 615 ilvl does double damage than 629ilvl Shadow Priests? When can we expect this nonsense to end? We are in endless class balancing fights in this game and people don’t wanna play it any more unlss you are DK or Shaman.
Ironically with all the combined changes they managed to nerf both ST and AoE lol

Survival spec needs looked into along with pack leader. Missing out on some good dps cause talent(s) aren’t properly working in PvP. It’s bull.
Release a patch then immediately follows it up with huge buff to classes tells me ZERO actual testing went into this…
Elemental shamans -
Not only did you force us to change our stat priority from Crit/haste to Mastery Haste mid tier…then you buffed us to the point where we were pulling insane numbers on single target burst and AoE packs…Now we are getting nerfed. It’s clear these devs don’t even play their own game. Shamans will still be fun to play but yeah we won’t be at the top anymore which is fine to me, we had our fun pulling 10M Burst single target and over all 2M dps.
This nerf was terribly needed as it was crushing everyone else with barely any effort. If any other shaman disagrees with these changes then clearly you haven’t been playing your class correctly.
I will still be playing Ele shaman, it’s not going to be that big of a nerf, just changes the way our playstyle will be.

Ps: I am a paladin main, even I think these nerfs are hilarious. They are going to go from competitive to bottom of the barrel DPS
