I misread the topic title as “Class Turkey Incoming” three times in a row and I am obviously too sleepy to be on the forums right now.
its interesting how survival and destro were able to reign for a whole season but outlaw has a bit of fun for 1 month and its nerf city.
This. It’s in the trenches with MW and despite the latter getting a “rework” on PTR, it still got some love here.
Where the F is Elemental buff?!
After watching Kalamazi test Aff and Destro I can safely say that Demo is going to need to be buffed to match.
If only there was a legendary from SL they could’ve brought forward that did something like that? Nah, that would’ve been way too easy.
Heya, I think you missed “Restoration Druid”, they are clearly the most played/represented healer in the top 100, and top 500. They are grossly outperforming every other healer by a significant margin.
Bringing the bottom up is more important than taking the top down. Nerfing PEvoker/RDruid/PWarrior doesn’t suddenly make BrM not get one shot or RShaman a good healer.
theyre not interested in logic. they want to make ppl reroll a lot to keep them busy/invested.
seems to be the sole purpose of balance in this game. sometimes though, somehow, they let a couple classes reign supreme for the whole season out of nowhere. aka SL s.4
Glacial Fragments could work. I would just suggest for it to proc only from initial lance and only with 3+ targets affected by Blizzard, so that it helps with 3+ target cleave, but is neither required to min-max 2 target cleave nor can lead to Splitting Ice nerfs again.
Okay, which of you BM players angered the Devs? But seriously doh, Beast mastery never gets any love or is it just me? Yes, single target is not bad, but there are about 10 specs who do better ST dps, and also get to have good AOE, it doesn’t have any focused cleave, high burst, AOE is pretty bad and lets not even mention how squishy it is. Sure we may have the damage uptime of melee whith the somewhat more safe distance of ranged, but it’s nowhere near to compensate for how lackluster the spec currently is.
Where is the Death Strike buff for Death Knights
Lol so true
I am curious to ask ya’ll, does anyone remember a golden age or best time where nearly all or all classes had balance/felt good to play instead of a handful? I might be tripping but Mists of Pandaria had a moment where things were rocking in terms of people able to go and apply themselves PVE or PVP wise.
Realistically across the board should classes that have high DPS but little survivability be rewarded with doing the most DPS potentially? Maybe DPS who have good utility do fair DPS in comparison in exchange for extra survivability and flexibility?
How should healers be tuned with keeping their own class identities instead of homogenizing everyone?
As a DK, just really joined Dragonflight very very recently my class often has trouble with mobility so me running Unholy and having good damage output for PVE content has made me a happy camper. I can Death’s Advancement, Wraithwalk and my species talent to help my movement speed but it can be cumbersome either way. Compared to like Monks cartwheeling and Demon Hunters leaping.
That said current underperforming classes should be tuned, Paladin’s do be needing some love and Hunters.
No, I understand how it works perfectly, but again when you’re buffing other classes by 10-25% and then nerf a class by 1% (yes I know it’s aoe so 7-8&) that’s not keeping an eye on a spec that outperforming everyone else. That’s doing the bare minimum work.
Lol no…
Demo still has by far the better damage profile out of the 3 specs after these buffs.
Nothing to address the current squishiness of bm hunters? Dying to ambient damage despite blowing all defensives is getting pretty old.
Narrator: “It wasn’t”
Affliction is a design problem as much as it is a performance problem. All the aura buffs in the world can’t fix that.
Soooo you’re buffing classes that arguably don’t need the buffs, while leaving Arms warriors alone…
You know, you guys don’t even have to pay me. I’ll be a free consultant for the Warrior team so you have someone on the team that plays the class and can help you guys get it figured out and dialed in.
We can do the Skype thing.
After reading everyones comments, these devs need to start over on the talent trees. Some class are super janky, and require you to talent into things that were normally baseline to the class. This is a huge dumpster fire and is potentially tarnishing what could be a great expansion.
People are being forced to play classes they do not want to, and seem super unhappy overall.
