really now? 50%? that’s not gonna do anything. We’re ignoring spenders to spam Lava Burst, this would need to be 150/200% to make any difference. also why does Enhance get a survivability buff when ele doesn’t? u can’t live on high keys lmao.
Sweet i get a buff again.
Im not as knowledgeable as some of these Ret paladins are on this forum, but i personally feel fine. Im not on the bottom like how some people complain but i aint on top either. Keep the 3% coming tho lol
looks like good changes, now do season 3 dungeons please
Ret Paladins get another buff even though they are doing better than Feral is in M+? Guess I’ll just keep playing my warrior.
No buff to feral and survival? sure.
This is a lie, log hooks aren’t working properly, so Aug damage isn’t being properly represented in logs. Noone knows truly how well they’re doing, but when Liquid ran raid testing to determine whether they’d bring 0, 2, or 4 Augs, Aug was doing about 60K DPS more than their previous top DPS. So, even an Aug that isn’t HYPER optimized is still probably gonna be in the upper echelon of the pack.
My BM hunter is about on par, if not worse, than my Demo lock. For his gear I mean.
We’re feasting, finally.
It already is. I just started using the hunter and can already kill some full geared players because the unstoppable burest of MM is LULZworthy. He has like 612k HP in PvP. The ultimate glass canon.
And that was before seeing this buff.
Blizzard as always ruining the classes to end the player’s experience and force them to use another one, they always try to make some classes a misery, I think that at the corporate level they do not have time to develop a good class before the patch and they have to correct everything during the game. Workplace harassment at Blizzard must be inhumane then…
Ret buffs all I need to read.
no its not stop talking
stop sandbagging spriest in arena, we’re fine there. we need god in pve
Not every class is going to be in the top percentiles every season and what I said is demonstrably true. The buff is not excluded from PVP where other ones explicitly were. I’m sorry your spec isnt amazing this tier but to say its forgotten is pretty silly in the same post it got a big aoe buff.
I respect your opinion as I know you are an experienced spriest, but there’s a huge middle ground where shadow could be. We are extremely immobile as you’ve stated with the ‘train the spriest’ comment, as every one knows, but we also lack the tools to make space vs the meta of infinite mobility/unpeelable dps. We have numerous classes that have things like interrupt immunity for x amount of time, mobility skills that prevent slows, or remove them, classes with burst cd’s that make them immune to any form of peeling, hordes of instant cast high damage abilities, dispel protection that actually matters, etc.
You have to admit that the spec has been redesigned in many detrimental ways, and it’s clunky, and does not perform in pvp well enough to justify any of it.
This obviously isn’t JUST an spriest issue, it’s also an overall toxic design philosophy for many classes this expansion, where so many classes have a kit that essentially has everything in abundance, and if that design philosophy was refined and applied across all classes in a similar way, we could have spriest in a great spot. Without some major shifts in how classes are given an equitable share of damage/cc/mobility/healing/survivability/etc, we’ll see further homogenization of classes having everything in their kit, and those without it will be left in the dust.
no. most of the nerfs were becuz of pvp.
i seem to recall: resto druids losing their innate ability to be immune to poly; it didnt affect the other specs, just resto. they also lost the ability to become a tree - this ability the devs stated was tied to a powerful skill (that was nerfed also);
it took several years before resto druids regained the tree ability and not innately either, it was from a glyph.
Because Feral is 6 spots ABOVE ret in mythic raiding.
That’s fine. I disagree.
I am not saying that some PVP based nerfs didn’t happen.
I am saying the main focus of class tuning was pve.a
There are tuning options they can use in single target vs. M+ talents.
Sorry but they only know how to do 3% tunings for ret, apparently.
Ret has one of, if not the biggest discrepancies between AOE in ST and ST in AOE specs.
They need to go look at the talent trees and start from there.
