…that’s not fair at all, my dude. A janitor would NEVER just leave a turd like this, they’d at least try to clean it.
Here’s the issue. Nothing else is getting pushed up enough to compensate if both specs get nerfed heavily in AoE, so where does that leave keys?
This is way too late in the season for these kinds of changes. This needed to happen much, much earlier.
You’re absolutely right. Im sorry for shaming the janitor.
Well there you have it, guess the devs just like making poo sandwhiches for players to eat.
That can’t be right…Shadow is doing pretty good on actual pure st, eg Skolex, artificer, holondrus, lihiuvim, rygelon, jailor, etc
If your looking at Anduin/Lords of Dread, those have other shenanigans that inflate actual numbers on bosses.
On Jailor Mythic, 90th+ percentile, boss damage Shadow Priest is the first range spec at overall rank 3, while being the first range spec for boss damage.
All they have issues is just managing that AOE.
Dont forget the dirty mop water for our beverage!
0 extra damage because you can bring Vengence in a tank slot rather than fill a contested Melee slot with Havoc
Theres not that much people that plays dh tanks in raids, theyve never really shined much in there. And in m+ the current meta is diverse enough for tanks that it shouldnt happen often. Moreover like said before there is still a decent amount of havoc in high keys (over +25).
A change this late into the season when many have already pushed this far? What does this mean for people trying to still get title?
I would have like to have seen buffs to all the other classes instead where they could have just as much fun as warlock/hunter for dps. Or the utility and survivability of bdks. Or the raw output of priests/shamans at the moment.
For those that have already pushed the keys to the edge, are they still going to continue pushing or just stop because it feels locked in already?
I wish that Spriest or Arms warr did well. Have some paladin/druid guildies that just stopped pushing to 3k even though I know we could do it with em. Some specs just aren’t as fun as warlock/hunter when it comes to M+.
Where are the Havoc DH buffs?
im all for buffing everyone else, but also make things fair and remove aoe damage reduction from everyone, the mayor reason destro locks are just so dam strong is that in big pulls they litrally have no aoe cap whatsoever in damage, they do have it for shard gen.
but were not the 28th yet? what am i missing… ptr maybe?
Mistweavet damage is awful is M+ . Maybe its me . Average i cant get much above 2k dps . Usually hovering around 1800 . Where my sham can more then double that .granted hes 13 item level difference but i dont think it should be that disparaging .
I am glad I got 3k before this. Making a change like this so late in to the season is very short sided. There are those that have invested a significant amount of time to level / gear destro and it will be thrown away with this change.
Like so many others have said. It would have been a better move to bring the underperforming specs up instead of brining the top performing specs down. But hey, I guess I should not be surprised with the past two dumpster fire expansions that you have produced. This is just par for the course.
fire tankingness is high because of Blazing Soul talent, there’s no need to nerf blink to arcane and frost, fire usually plays night fae and has soulshape, this nerf arcane/frost more than it does anything to fire.
This, Exactly this, Fire mages were literal gods that went well and truly beyond what destro is doing now, They never once got the nerf and destro finally gets super strong in M+? WE get the elemental shaman treatment, Multiple nerfs and then obliteration.
When will blizzard learn to balance with a precision set of tools not with a damn sledge hammer?
High end mythic Sepulcher raiders and mythic dungeon players have asked for buffs. You haven’t touched Havoc Demon Hunter this year and season or communicated to us all year and season. Stop being disappointing and do something correctly.
Hey, Blizzard. You want to know what a Crushing Blow really is?
It’s when you treat a long time, established character of lore, and reduce him to nothing in a poorly thought out storyline.
This has been your daily/weekly/monthly reminder that you did Arthas dirty.
This is absurd. I can’t wait to get my CE and get away from this trash game with uninformed devs. Gutted a spec 3 months into the season… what the actual F%#* Blizz?!
at least you aren’ havoc dh that’s been gutted since SL prepatch.
I would strongly recommend reverting any nerfs this far into the patch, kinda hard to push for .1% title when all the competition got theirs prior to the nerf. You made your bed by letting this class balance fly 3 weeks into the patch, 4 months later is not the time to become remorseful.
By nerfing destro all you’re doing is catering to lower tuned classes in low keys, this nerf wont suddenly make players happy that fire mages can be a stand in for destro, it’ll make push groups upset (as you can see by the overwhelming amount of negative comments) that their effective dungeon cap was reduced by about 2-4 key levels overnight.
Take your lashings at poor foresight, regarding bringing back tier (to clarify, tier is a good thing however the insane deviation in tier power is not (eg. ret paladin → destro lock)) and ride out the rest of the season. Nerf destro into the ground with s4, let everyone continue on a level playing field.
