CAN YOU TELL ME WHY WARRIORS ARE GETTING BUFFED ASWELL? WHATS THE POINT IN THIS BUFF??? IF HUNTERS WILL STAY UIN THE SAME PLACE LOL

but ya anyways 90% of these buffs need to not apply to pvp

Hunters will get a “help” but Warriors will be even stronger. Its pointless.

you didn’t look at these and assume they were made with pvp in mind did you?

these buffs are a stupid excuse to not dress the actually problems with hunters i feel like. for example the pet rez, and pet dying even if u look at them etc

i dont play hunter but i like watching jellybeans play so much I want to see them get (reasonably) buffed

most pve tunings dont affect pvp dmg, although its kinda scary that they didnt notate that in the notes

they notate when they don’t affect pvp

like the warrior MS? one a few weeks ago was specifically noted as (unchanged in pvp)

I am hopeful that they just haven’t released the pvp tuning to counterbalance some of these things. I hope there’s additional tunes to some outliers.

you mean the 20% buff in pve to ms when there was still people who whined about how it would affect pvp lol

That’s a tall task because the entire Hunter class needs a fundamental rework. Until they address the dissonance between MM Hunters supposed to survive through “Kiting” and having their damage tied to a 2.5 second hard cast, the spec will flipflop between overtuned and bad based on how high/low they crank the numbers.

people already think they shouldn’t feel an attack you have to hard cast for 2.4 seconds that is already mitigated because its PHYSICAL damage. Meanwhile Balance(d) druids are surging people for 20k+ insta cast but here’s the catch. They also have damage outside of starsurge and its magic damage so plate wearers can actually feel it.

Yeah. It’s a weird design space to be in. Hunters are supposed to be the “kiting” class, so everyone expects to just kill them instantly in any heads up fight.

But they don’t want to give Hunters the damage or abilities that would allow Hunters to actually do the whole “kiting” schtick because it “feels unfair” to die to someone without getting any chance to fight them. It’s a similar space to Rogues in that the class just ends up getting a lot of hate because of how they’re designed.

agree that bliz devs need to dive a bit deeper instead of these super easy tweaks

there is always sustained, burst, and uptime considerations for every class/spec

actually, aimed shot is only a 2 secnod cast, which cant be interrupted btw, and they have a lot of damage into rapid fire right now too

This won’t really increase representation of other specs it will just make the game slightly more enjoyable for the die hards that love them.

Buff warrior in PVE by 3% and it does not apply to PVP. Done.

there’ve been times where classes got a flat dmg buff but it didnt affect pvp

but yea since it wasnt notated it looks like thats not the case sadly
