It true though. When boomkins are stronger in rbgs than arms warriors are in 3v3.
They canât until they rework stealth. Stealth will always make Balance Druid strong in RBGs, paired with Cyclone.
Itâs also the damage and the survivability and mobility ⌠itâs also very Very Very much the damage.
Yes, but even if that is under tuned in the future they will be useful for above stated reason.
Also, and not directed at you, I donât care if a ton of friends that all reroll busted classes have to expand their network. âFriendsâ playing the same FotM classes isnât a compelling reason to not break this class stacking issue.
you should see the wannabe rated epic teams with 8 priests, 2 rdruids, 9 tanks, and like 15 hunters.
stuff iâve thought of to counter this would be something like change the tank damage taken debuff in pvp to be increased 10% for every tank on your team. you could do a damage/healing reduction for dps/healers on a per spec basis.
also nerf hunters.
Came across a stream someone shared with me the other day of an RBG team with 2 BDKâs and a Guardian in EoTS at 2400. They won and it was actually funny on some of the strats that they were able to pull off.
Useful, sure, but if they didnât have the damage to support their other utility they wouldnât be brought in such numbers.
Youâd want one to help rogues stealth cap or defend nodes but you wouldnât want 8 of them.
stealth will always be 1 up when it comes to pvp. what they really need to do is make starting attacks break stealth/camo and not after. just that one change would go a long way.
Or just leave stealth on Feral and remove it from other Druid specs.
Restricting what people want to play is another way to make people hate the game.
People complain about being restricted with gear because they canât achieve the rating required. Why should it be okay to pick and choose what to restrict?
Itâs impossible to make everything âbalancedâ, with all the multiple content avenues there are in the game.
Every class right now is good in RBG. If youâre truely good at it, then itâll be viable. Clearly, some classes are just superior to others.
To put a measure on it, everything is âHeroâ viable.
Making 3 classes take up half an rbg roster restricts the game too. Think man.
Thereâs a difference though.
Youâre asking for a restriction system to be put in place, where players donât have control. Forcing people to restrict.
The other is people choosing to stack druids.
If you really want to see a difference; next time you make a group, donât invite anymore than 2 druids. Heck, even make it only 1 druid if you really want to have ârestrictionsâ.
Anything past 2 druids is just unnecessary (and generally weaker that alternatives) on all maps aside Temple.
Kind of like Master Loot.
Are all your responses going to be comparing apples to oranges?
funny, i was reading this and thinking you were the one making wild comparisons that had no real similarities.
like gear restrictions? no thats not whats upsetting people w/ gear.
why is it okay to pick and choose what to restrict? because thats how everything works. if you think this is arbitrary, its not, restricting classes wouldnt be necessary IF druids werent so far outside of balanced.
well yeah, cuz its super duper easy for carry groups.
sure take an enh shaman into your hoth group. theyâll be terrible but thankfully theyre only 10% of the team so your other 90% can compensate.
and due to how rbg mmr works, youâll be earning +15 points at 2k mmr even though 9/10 people are above 2600 like its all goofed up but thats rbgs.
I think youâll find the gap lies within your comprehension.
Now youâre just being disingenuous.
Letâs restrict Ele shamans because of how weak they are.
Letâs also restrict two friends (who like playing the same class) from playing together
My favourite thing about you, believe it or not isnât how ignorant you are, but the comments you make whilst being ignorant.
my favorite thing about you is just how ignorant you are of reality.
like.
hoth last season was ~2430.
using 2500, cuz we are still weeks away from end of S2, and looking at RBG ladder on horde / alliance.
1 singular shaman is in that range. and its resto. Compared to 41 disc priests in that range, and 26 boomkins.
so im hestitant to say that even carry groups would get an enh shaman into hoth. even though carryâs are prevalent and easy, reality shows that its probably not gonna happen.
okay but one of these are arbitrary.
Hypothetically if all specs were 100% balanced (never going to happen) but there was one spec that was say, a 2% outlier, that spec would more than double the representation of the next highest.
Accessibility is what is driving RBG participation down in the first place so Iâm not sure what adding an arbitrary restriction would do other than reduce the amount of overemotional âstraight to the forums after losing to X specâ posts.
Those posts are usually the most entertaining to read anyway.
