I’ve only played up to 2200 (just mmr not cr) this season but I rarely saw any of these specs:

Arcane Mage (but without shimmer shimmer shimmer)

I would actually really enjoy fighting more sub rogues. Only saw a few, didn’t include any rogue specs because rogues are my friggin bane right now.

could you pls let me know whats wrong with arcane mages compared to fire and frost?
I can see enough arcane mages on the pvp ladder. not like frost dk or holy priest.
Lockout arcane they can’t cast anything unless they take ring of frost, they can put their shimmer down, flip it and reverse it.
I just personally did not see many at the lower bracket, which I am sure is where most pvp players are. I don’t think I’ll ever see myself getting that .1% as I barely make it to 2.2/2.3 mmr… but that’s just because the anxiety of q’ing gets to be too much so I set a goal.

I agree, I think all specs that aren’t healers should have little to no healing, hybrids should output SMALL healing for a large resource cost (example, ret paladin flash of light 4 times, can do again in 10-15 seconds, this is a real issue), and healers should have certain things that counter them. And realistically, healers need stronger defensive abilities, but less of them so that it promotes healthy synergy from their teammates.
No complaints from me about these two disappearing.

Yeah, I’m all about diversity in this game. Seeing the same comps game in and game out gets old and stale. But these two specs are just pure awful to go up against.

Saw a few arcane around 2k but not a ton.
Saw a few frost dks… Prefer uh being strong.
Zero enhance but maybe because ele is form?
Actually saw and qued with a few demo!
Zero holy priest past 2k for sure.
