Hello. Warrior here. Just got a class quest to go to numerous dungeons to get a piece of armor, armor I’d probably replace while trying to do the quest. Are class quests that reward gear (armor, weapons, ect) optional? Will class quests later on still be available as I level? I don’t want to miss quests that unlocks spells or stances, anything that’s basically mandatory
You can go back and do the class quests later. The equipment really isnt worth the hassle at low levels – except for the Whirlwind Axe.
Its optional. Mainly pallies, locks druids and shams need them the most in Classic. Other than that it is mainly just added lore stuff that doesn’t sever a whole lot of purpose.
You’re my favourite kind of player, the one playing Classic for the first time. I was in your shoes a little over a year ago. Even have my Dreadsteed feat to prove it.
My advice? If you can do it, do it. If not don’t worry about it. My first time levelling was some of the most fun I had in WOW and is on par with completing a raid phase. I had someone I met and levelled with though around level 30 to max, but yeah don’t rush through this part. Even if you’re used to retail WOW, try to enjoy it.
Thanks for everyone’s help. I play classic because I like taking my time. Glad to know a lot of it is optional.
The only one that’s important is fury at 30. The rest are just gear which is quickly replaced. The blue chest has a rage pot but with a 30m CD it’s not worth much anymore. Wrath levels so fast and easily you may as well skip it. You won’t get groups for most dungeons anymore either.
Even that’s a huge hassle, unless you can get carried through the chain as soon as it opens up.
Yea whirlwind axe is so sick
if you can afford a Crusader enchant on it (maybe fishing deviate fish/oily blackmouths in barrens) you will be unstoppable
