Destro warlocks are really nasty at 1v1, and in general. They’ll shred your whole team in BGs if you don’t notice them in time to stop them from going full turret, and 1v1ing them pretty much amounts to staying CC locked while they delete you with massive chaos bolt damage.

Any way to post pics on these forums? I have at least 3 where I’m first place and not because I screenshot them selectively, these were consecutive bgs all from the same day. I can get way more for you too if you don’t believe me.

Except thetes a Ret Paladin in the top three best 2s Arena classes.
Whether 1v1 or in groups, Ret holds its own. One of the best duelists I’ve met said the only player who gave him trouble consistently playef a Ret.
Brain is a holy main, looks like he’s logged out as ret from doing PvE. Dead the dead giveaway is him having two Treacherous Covenant traits. Sims well in PvE, but for PvP you just don’t have that kind of budget for having those traits.
I mean he does queue as both but has mostly been seen as holy.
for ret to be good in 1v1 you need to have LoS. If you don’t arcane mages, Spriests, and locks will destroy your face.
WW is better depending on the map. If there is a Z axis then monks will easily win any 1v1
A smart rogue will almost always beat a ret. they simply have to reset about 4 different times.
Personally, I love paladins and have Mained ret since vanilla. I don’t push high rating in 2s. Mainly just play with friends / enjoy games around 1700-1800
