Does ANYONE like it? MY GOSH. I was leveling up a retail hunter again for the next xpac and now after logging on I’m gonna nope right out of that. I have no idea what to play anymore. I find something I like only for them to change it drastically or tweak it enough that I hate it.
It’s atrocious, the game is basically Diablo.
I can’t fathom people who want to play a fantasy rpg and only use 3 spells for all their game time. Not only that mostly the same spells we’ve been already using for 21 years.
Yes! I’m really trying to find something I like. Because I want to like playing WoW but my gosh, the dev’s are making it hard with these changes.
Canceled the sub this morning. I’ll check back in about a year. This looks like it’s going to be a long road just to get basic quality-of-life features back after they went all in on gutting the game over the idea that addons are cheating.
On top of that, the prices are out of control. I’m not grinding all day or buying WoW Tokens just to change pants, outfits, or rebuy overpriced decor. Between the gold sinks, heavy grinds, and constant FOMO, the game has shifted away from fun and toward obligation. Since the Microsoft acquisition, that trend has only accelerated.
So yeah, not this time around for me.
So many specs feel barren, it had to move taunt into my area for active ablities just to help make it look like I had stuff there to use.
this update has got me taking a second look at Fellowship
Can’t really tell the difference, though I’ve played for about an hour.
There is a handful of classes/specs that feel ok, not many.
I don’t Elemental Shaman is super boring in st. 4 button rotation n
Psh, half these people got no class to change
ba-lanketed ba-zing!
resto shaman plays the exact same as before so it’s fine to me.
Biggest problem right here.
Unless you’ve been playing Beta, you’ve had less than a day to make a determination whether the spec is good or not. Realistically more time (and by extension gear) is needed before they can be ruled on.
Im fine with how my classes are.
Fury feels the same for the most part. Arms still has a ton of buttons. Prot warrior is identical to before.
I will say I feel like the new demon hunter spec needs a more regularly available AoE ability and it would feel fine.
Vengeance has a “new” button but felt mostly the same.
I still need to dive into my other classes and Havoc. None have felt like a 4 or less button rotation though. Thats being a bit over dramatic, but maybe my tune will change after trying other characters ![]()
I’m not sure how that’s possible with the removal of CBT
I’ve playing since Vanilla. I don’t need a long time to take a look at a spec and tell if I’ll enjoy it or not.
While I agree with you. Wow hasn’t been a fantasy rpg in a long time. Its been a seasonal lobby game that takes any element of rpg out of it to be “competitive “
I’m so confused why an expac means my character becomes so much worse. My ability bars are a shadow of their former self.
How could this possibly be fun? My healer has nothing to do or interact with.
I never used CBT in pvp lol.
So you should also know that some specs don’t really come online without the right stats or talents. Am I saying that’s the case here? No. But to look at something and dismiss it before it’s ready can’t be objective.
