I know you get this a lot, but holy sht, try a bit of balancing in this game. I’m on a Prot Pally with full Vers Gear, ilvl 220, 2-shot by a DH with eye beam. Get your sht together.

If they cannot figure out how the gearing system is destroying pvp I doubt they have the competency to figure out class balance.

I see nothing wrong with being murdered by someone if they’re 40 ilvls higher. Especially when you’re a tank taking extra damage. Not sure why you think this is a class balancing issue.

Troll post. Eyebeam hits for like 5k total damage. He probably stunned you, eyebeam, hunt, fel rush and blade danced all over you. Prob should bubble or something i dunno. I love when people have DHDS (demon hunter derangement syndrome) from Legion/BFA. Gets on his lvl 2 alt, complains about getting merc’d by a solid class, but mentions nothing about every other class in game that can do the same thing. GG

Wait as paladin you die to a DH??? They you have to be a really bad player. They only way I can think is hunt you crit, stun you eyebeam.
Hunt is only burst and is been severely nerf since the conduit now does the 40% damage over time and not on impact as was before.
I am with you they should fire the class designers. Is really So so bad. (I just got GW2, and canceled wow) for this kinda things

1 Dps shouldn’t ever kill a Tank period. Tanks are supposed to you know… be able to Tank several Dps. As for balancing there is none. That much is clear. BFA was more balanced.

this guy is in 220 gear. It’s not a class balancing issue if ANY class could kill him.
Most people are in 220 gear though. Since there is gear balancing problems. Most BG/PvP players don’t do Arena or M+ so they will top out at 220. Which is a problem. This ranks system has to go. If you got Conquest you should be able to just buy BiS PvP gear.
I’m gonna stop feeding you, SL is a dumpsterfire so stop making excuses for it. There is a long list of things that are bugged, exploited, broken, need removed, balanced and fixed.

Prot Pal, Prot War and Brew need some serious buffs. Then fix everything else that is broken.

If literally every single dps spec in the game can beat him if they have 30 ilvls on him then how is that a class balancing issue?
Side note I just don’t like Versa. Going with my traditional Mastery build. You just need to block these big hits and amplify your dmg reduction in Cons. I’d say around 35% mastery with Holy Shield starts to feel better I’m at 39% in BGs. Which puts my block up high enough to get some reliable blocks on these nukes and all spell dots.
I had to suck up some Korthia gearing though and PvE gearing to make it work. Also got a Shard of Kyr that has the Absorb today in LFR and lovin it so far. (been trying to get it for 3 weeks) You can casually farm LFR for it then buy the 239 gloves eventually in the rep vendor in Korthia to put it in.
I also have Blood Splattered Scale M+ absorb trinket. Which is a good emergency absorb when everything else is down. I know kinda annoying this isn’t at the PvP vendor but that is part of the problem. The PvP gear sucks too.
Just to maybe add something constructive to the thread even though SL is a complete mess.

It’s hard to know what’s class balancing issues these days as opposed to someone out gearing you. The gap is just that bad
They’re both absolutely terrible right now. But he’s 220 ilvl. We know what the main issue is. And it isn’t prot pallys not being tanky enough.
