Has anyone seen the advertisement for the class action lawsuit against Blizzard? I saw one on Facebook. Apparently something about them selling our info. I think that is hilarious because every company sells your info. Think it is real or just a scam?

Facebook is as reliable for good information as TikTok, Instagram, “x”, “truth” and the rest of the nonsense social media systems.

Many companies are allowed to sell data. If they’re selling restricted personal information then yes it is illegal. It just depends on what is being sold.
One of these has Community Notes.

Since in most cases, adverts are usually to sell something.

I don’t trust anything said on Facebook and Twitter, which is why I don’t use them. I always look at multiple sources if I want to see if it’s actually true of not.

Not to get political but we need to speak up about the massive data harvesting that is done on the population, not only Blizzard games. Operative systems getting AI , which in turn will create a profile on us… They need to stop the harvest and instead make an “opt-in” and start paying people for their data. There are big money in it for them, but a violation for privacy for the people.

Next month blizzard will be giving you adds on login based on your brouser history. And you can only remove them with an extra $5 per month subscriptions to remove adds.
The sad part is i could actually see blizzard doing this crap.
Facebooks is super serious business.
