You’re making assumptions about what I’m saying rather than reading what I’m actually writing. And I know this because you edited your post to take out where you said that you assumed that my way of handling it would be to have the water strider stay as is and be exempt from the item equipment, the same way the sky golem will be.

I don’t like the look of the water strider at all so no, that would not at all be my ideal way for Blizzard to handle the situation. It’s one option of many that would provide additional choices while not removing any functionality that currently exists.

That’s still a user problem and not a mount problem. Who cares how many people use the water strider? If the mount bothers someone enough, they should make the choice to take advantage of the option to use water walking on their other mounts and use one of those. They should just make it keep its water walking and not have mount equipment for it, like the Sky Golem.

So all these people will shut up about it. Even though their waterstride with functionally work the same with the free water equipment they will be given.

i’ve grinded for or paid gold for all sorts of things that have changed, become cheaper or free.

How is this change cheaper or free? Current Strider owners only get 1 free equipment. Any after that has a cost.

With system in-place, I never have a cost associated with water walking.

the hysterical irony of this crap is that I was FINALLY getting my head to maybe get past the infantile portal removal tripe.
I figured Id come by here today after a couple days and feel things out.
Screwing with my water striders was one of the few things they could have done to let me know that I was right…they ARE dead set determined to keep doing this crap no matter what.

If they think Im paying for water walking on 40ish alts, they are ALL out of their stinking minds.
I did the grind for the mount on TWO accounts. I did it for the water walking ability. And now I suppose to BUY the ability for every character to have it?

yeah…I dont think so.

you used to get 1000 day time (not any time) minutes plus 500 texts (not unlimited) plus no internet for like $60. now you can get unlimited everything for the same price. essentially you’re wanting your 1000 day time minutes and are not seeing that the new plan is actually better. you just want the old plan because “i already paid for it.”
