In order to prevent the Forsaken from slowly dying out due the undeath making their bodies fall apart which you need strong magic for to counter it.
I like the attempt at a ‘gotcha & double standards’, but it doesn’t apply. The Sunreavers as an organization never knew, with Sunreaver civilians not knowing what was going on and the named NPCS rescued by the Horde PC & Rommath don’t give any indication they knew what was going on either. Aethas himself only found out the Bell was stolen after the fact and was threatened into silence - Chronicles actually gives his fear of Garrosh’s wrath more credit then it did considering Garrosh one-upped Lor’themar over command of his own people.
Jaina Proudmoore was always directly involved in the Purge of Dalaran because she ordered it. Instead of launching a proper investigation which she could very well do, what she SHOULD HAVE DONE with her own personal power and knowledge of the Arcane, the ability to call upon the likes of SI:7 and Silver Covenant to root out the few responsible for the Bell’s theft, she chose to punish the majority.

The fanservice cheese of the Sons of Lothar even being back is the biggest brainrot ever. I have never seen any Horde prominence having a similar success story. No Thrall doesn’t count.

This happened AFTER a Sunreaver had already betrayed Dalaran and caused Theramore to be destroyed! The fact Aethas never did anything to root out traitors/make sure none of his other followers were also sympathetic to Garrosh is either out of Malice or Incompetence(clearly the latter)
Ah so Aethas is given carte blanche because of ignorance but Jaina get the full blame because she couldn’t have know who was or wasn’t guilt/it would be impossible to know who it would be without maybe another artifact being stolen.
Cairne and Vol’jin are dead and Chen is neutral.

We literally established a about hundred responses ago that Garrosh had the help of Several Sunreavers. THat the ingame lore presented to the Horde is either wrong/not canon. Suffice to say Sunreavers did help steal the bell.
Blizzard deflects the blame to Aethas alone and is about to make him apologize for something he didn’t do. Blizzards take on this despite him not at fault for the event is like reverse racism which is bad for everyone actually affected by social prejudices.

How do we know he didn’t? Aethas himself stated he would do anything to make amends for Thalen’s treachery in Tides of War.

Theramore was nuked as a response to them litertally backing up the invasion of the Barrens which is why Stormwind now has a larger presence there then the tauren since Taurajo was never rebuild ans Baine is a stain on the history of his people.
