Chronicles 4 Spoiler Thread

Go tell that to Mithonic, she is the one who mentioned she innocent.

My last general discussion topic that had over 1k replies was months ago. I need to find a thing that can blew up fast and triggers many people. Any ideas?

She’s innocent with blame negligible & long paid off despite directly ordering the Purge of Dalaran to begin with and doing nothing to stop the Silver Covenant… Yeah, this definitely and totally makes sense.

Jaina sent the SC to purge the city of any and all blood elves. Regardless of their affiliation to the Sunweavers and than SC go on a murder rampage against any who slightly resisted, many due to being terrified.

Either way, she has blood on her hands. She might not have personally killed anyone, but she let her personal hounds off their leash to do as they please

So would Aethas in that regard. And based on Chronicles so would Lother’mar considering he let his people work with Garrosh.

Hey if Aethas is innocent so is she. Regardless, neither of them get the brunt of any blame based on Chronicles and any blame seems fairly focused on Garrosh.

the Silver Covenant started as anti blood elf hate group because Vereesa was spiteful from the start even before Rhonin died. This had nothing to do with Theramore either. It is literally in their description I can quote it for you.

Aethas didn’t find out about the theft until it was literally too late to do anything about it.

Can’t blame a guy who was in the dark for the majority of it. And clinging to CUT CONTENT regarding Aethas doesn’t help your case here

Aethas only found out after the fact and was threatened into silence, and Lor’themar didn’t just ‘let his people work with Garrosh’. Garrosh continually treated the Sin’dorei like trash and according to Chronicles, one-upped him in command over his own people. Lor’themar was going to join the Alliance then a certain something happened that ruined it. (thank god for that)

Conversely, the high elven members who opposed the notion of allowing the sin’dorei back into the Kirin Tor’s ranks formed the Silver Covenant as a precaution against possible treachery from the Sunreavers

Treachery from the Sunreavers did happen, thrice. So in that regard they were right to form a group to prevent it.

Thank god indeed considering how often the blood elves betray their allies.

Annoyingly, this seems to be the one case where Blizzard still considers this cut content to be canon.

Garrosh betrayed Lor’themar, not the other way around.

The Sunreavers betrayed Dalaran. They didn’t remain neutral/chose Garrosh over the their loyalties to Dalaran.

No they didn’t. They were not involved. Start blaming those whon actually stole the Bell. Btw Jaina aided Darnassus to guard it so she broke neutrality first and is a major hypocrite.

Also I found it literally their flavor text in the faction slide:

“The Silver Covenant is a militant faction of high elves founded and led by Vereesa Windrunner in Dalaran City. They rejected the admission of the blood elves into the Kirin Tor, and have taken it upon themselves to serve as a military deterrent for any potential Horde uprising. The Horde equivalent of the Silver Covenant are the Sunreavers.”

She was preventing the bell from being used by anyone. Also, Chronicles already confirmed Sunreavers did help Garrosh.

The Sunreavers as an organization never betrayed Dalaran, they never even LIKED Garrosh and blamed him just as much as they did Jaina – it has always been the actions of a few, never the majority of the organization.

And yet said organization did nothing to stop it. Or do you only blame inaction when its with Jaina?

You blamed Sylvanas from trying to control th Valkyr even tho it never happened and Genn almost triggered a war over it. The amount of white washing the Blizzard did for the alliance is almost laughable. At least Bioware did try to make the Republic more ominous and handed them some deserved losses to spice the story.

It never happened because he stop it. And now I am curious how Chronicles treats that particular event.

He attacked the head of state of the Horde which counts as war declaration in real life too if Blizzard wasn’t so biased.

And she was using a cursed item to strip someone of their free will. Not to mention working with a literally enslaver of souls(two in fact)
