One is not like the other
But I doubt he sees the irony in both his statements
This is a self own for you.
I seriously doubt you know what the meaning of a self own is, because itās not whatever you think it is
I will buy the book for shadowlands lore only. Darkspear will never have my respect.
You really donāt have any self-awareness or any idea how words work, huh?
I would be willing to give them more credit if they were honest.
āYeah, we kinda wanted to change some aspects we defined in Chronicles for Shadowlands, sorry guys, but I think those changes will provide more opportunities for stories in the futureā would be better than āchronicles was from the titans POVā
Iād still disagree with the decision but yeah thatād feel less gaslighty.
This is the key that so many have amnesia about. Retcons have always existed, books always go out of date, and Chronicle is in no way any different than any other lore. The Titan PoV business is just a little bit of creative flair, but it doesnāt substantially change anything.
And letās be real: they may say Titan PoV, but Blizzardās intention is 1000% that itās meant to be taken as literal canon until it contradicts new lore. People take that comment too seriously. Pretend it never happened, and Chronicle is no different than any other lore subject to change.
Hey do you guys think weāll get more information on the Lightbound - Magāhar war or just a summarization on what we know?
I didnāt even think about this. I was thinking about potential new lore for Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren and so on- Magāhar somehow slipped my mind lol.
Since the series is sort of an outside view looking down i could 100% see some more information in that regard. I would also love to hear more about the surviving clans- do they have chieftains still? We see Kaz the Shrieker from the Laughing Skull.
This stuff is oerhaps why i am so excited about the Chronicles 4. I have been wanting more faction/racial lore and spotlight for a while and this one should be FILLED with it, especially for the races that joined the factiona during these expansions.
More info, unlikely, a summarization of the questline to recruit the magāhar? Definately. I assume all the the allied races will get such a blurb. There is little to any chance we will learn what triggers the Lightbound to do what they did until we actually get an expansion about them.
So Malkorok and his Blackrock forces bending the knee to Garrosh should be covered in the book and it got me wondering if that segment would touch on the current status of the Dark Horde. We know theyāve been defeated, but the likes of the Scarlet Crusade have been defeated too and it didnāt stop them from coming back.
Iām just rather curious if there are remnants who were able to keep the Dark Horde going or if the entire just collapsed.
Iām also curious if the Forest Troll tribes within the Dark Horde (the Smolderthorn and Firetress) are still in the area or have left for greener pastures.
There was basically a whole HIstory of Blizzard having to do the Corporate dance of āNo, we didnāt mess up, we MEANT to slam the door on our toes, it was all part of our multistage plan, youāll see!ā because old School Corporate PR is ānever be seen as vulnerableā and it absolutely falls flat on itās face in the wake of the more modern sensibilities of sincerity. It only made them look that much dumber
I would reckon what remained of the Dark Horde sided with the Iron Horde (aka Zaelaās group in Blackrock Mountain). Either by force or otherwise. Considering Zaela took control over the upper reaches of Blackrock Spire.
Although that does the question, what happened to the lower reaches of Blackrock Spire? The dungeon is still the vanilla version so /shrug. From memory you can still see those mobs in the WoD version of UBRS but that could be Blizzard simply using the lower section as a backdrop and couldnāt be bothered removing them. Since you cannot access those areas in the revamped UBRS. Much like how you can still see some of the mobs from TBC Kara in the Legion version during the upside down areas.
I am eager to know canon raid kills and also of course Shadowladns lore.
