I have a level 59 experience locked character using Cataclysm Chromie Time and the majority of dungeons are missing from my dungeon finder.
Only 9 dungeons total are showing up in my dungeon finder. Here are the 9 dungeons that are currently showing up for me: Blackfathom Deeps, Gnomeregan, Maraudon - Earth Song Falls, Maraudon - Foulspore Cavern, Maraudon - The Wicked Groto, Razorfen Kraul, Scarlet Halls, Scarlet Monastery, and Stormwind Stockade.
Initially, while I was leveling, nearly all the classic dungeons were appearing. Now that I’ve hit level 59 it seems the majority have disappeared.
The level ranges for these dungeons state they go up to level 60. Why then are only 9 dungeons showing up in my dungeon finder?
Blizzard, I need some assistance here. I opened a ticket recently for an unrelated issue but an important one nonetheless and I received an automated response and my ticket labeled as “resolved”.
I also found a bug with the Darkmoon Faire that has been going on for over a year and still has yet to be resolved.
Overall, feeling a bit uncared for. I’m concerned blizzard either doesn’t have the manpower to support the game or they just don’t care. Either way, it’s a problem.
I’m a returning player, returning after 3 years, bought the latest $90 expansion, and I can’t get any answers. I keep running into little issues but this one regarding Chromie Time is preventing me from queuing for dungeons that I should be able to queue for and disrupting my gameplay.
I found the same issue with classic dungeons, I recommend doing what I did, submit a bug report. And for me, I saw the same small pool of dungeons on two alts, so I believe it’s a bug.
If you don’t think it’s working as intended, file a bug report.
During times of increased ticket queues Blizzard will send general troubleshooting mail because the steps in it resolve quite a few issues. If it didn’t resolve yours reopen your ticket and explain that the self-help options didn’t help. If the ticket was closed, open a new one and reference the old one.
Bugs are triaged. Ones that affect all players get higher priority over ones that only affect a few in rare circumstances. Sometimes fixing one bug can cause bigger ones. Some things players think are bugs are actually working as intended. If it is considered a really minor bug it may not be fixed at all. There are bugs that have existed since Cata when the game engine was replaced.
I hope it is a bug and not a “feature”. It’s surprising that this bug would exist in Chromie Time as it’s not a new feature. Im finding bugs though that have existed for quite a while so maybe it’s just negligence.
I hope they do fix whatever is causing this but I have very little faith in Blizzard right now.
