Choosing Who you play with is NOT Gatekeeping

Yeah, Gearscore addons exist. I saw a few groups demanding like 2200 GS. I’m not sure what kind of gear that shakes out to be.

I don’t understand the logic behind what people are requesting for these dungeons.

I’ve been running them on my assassination rogue and the regular mobs die so fast I barely get to use my combo points.

Like even if the group was short a person we wouldn’t have had a problem.

Then every MMO and multiplayer game with instanced content is gatekeeped.

Every MMO that isn’t WOTLK classic has some form of group former so… uhhh maybe rethink that one…

maybe i’m just used to this type of “gatekeeping” (lol) from retail and don’t really think twice about being declined from a group. you just move on.

Youre right. That is correct. Doesnt mean its good or bad. But it is gate keeping to decline people due to not having gearscore or being a meta class.

Im not even saying they have a valid reason to complain, just saying it literally is gatekeeping even by your own quote

I feel like if you re-read my post, you’d learn more.

You seem to be putting some sort of tenous connection, between party finders and popularity of MMOs, I’d love to see your sources on that claim!

I’m in quest blues/greens on my priest with a couple epics from prepatch nerfed raids. Out dpsing T6 players.

The gear doesn’t mean anything in these lower level dungeons

The sources are easy to find, they’re right next to the ones that say RDF killed the community.

I wish we had actual gatekeepers then we wouldnt have to hear all these toxic addicts screech because they arent getting their dopamine fixes quick enough to sate their addiction. Just some one to push the bums right out onto the street and back to retail and diablo, the games that were made for them.

If anyone is gatekeeping right now they need to take a break from this game. No dungeon as of yet has been challenging at all.
