I mean, that being said, I still wish classic wow itself was better. I just don’t think blizzard are the ones to do it. Wrath is basically the ashes of creation waiting room for me.
What’s insulting is you being disingenuous.
If they would just come out and say that, then I would be completely happy with quitting until it comes out. I enjoy raiding with my guild, that’s why I play. I loved OG Wrath it was my favorite expansion but I never played an expansion after it. My sub currently expires at the end of October. If raids don’t scratch the itch, I more than likely won’t resub. Doesn’t mean I won’t keep fighting until that sub is over to try and get the game back to what I remember.
I have been consistent in everything i have been saying.
RDF is a nice feature but its not needed, weather it gets added or not is of no consequence to me, but acting like there is no way to do content with out it is laughable.
You are the one getting flustered about it.
It’s not worth taking this person’s words too seriously, their arguments are always a house of cards and they will call you a troll for pointing it out.
well and to many more, this is closer to the wrath they remember so, best i can say is good luck in the fight friend hope they make the game you want it to be.
Ngl, I would actually recommend you unsub for a couple of months just to get a fresh perspective of the game. It’s healthy. I did it just before wrath launched, and it made me much more aware of what kind of bs stuff I was putting up with in wow, classic included.
A classic case of, you cant see the forest through the trees.
No you haven’t. You haven’t addressed ANYTHING I’ve said. You’ve refused to read what’s actually written and just make up BS off the top of your head. You called me lazy and accused me of wanting instant gratification. Not because of anything I said but because for some reason you think it’s edgy to be anti RDF and use those phrases.
If you’re not trolling then you’re being an a$$.
Yeah, considering RDF was the last patch of wrath, and MOST of people’s memories were made during content releases, I imagine most people’s memories of wrath don’t really include much of the RDF. I remember my first couple of runs of it, thinking “wow this is so convenient”, and then like, nothing, blank. Because the experience was so generic that it failed to trigger any sort of neural response to create long term memories.
Oh no, if I unsub, its doubtful I will come back to Classic ever, I slugged thru classic and tbc waiting on wrath just for it to be ruined for me. I am sure losing 1 healer will have little to no impact on the game overall. My guild will lose their only disc priest but I am sure they will recover. My guild fell apart at the end of TBC Phase 1 because the officers were burnt out from Classic and then into TBC. Our server (Earthfury was also dying on Alliance). I transferred servers and the prospect of starting over was overwhelming so I also took a long break. I came back with the announcement of Wrath Classic and I was pretty hyped for it. It has not lived up to the hype.
I have addressed everything you have been complaining about, the answer is in the game, you just dont wanna do it.
Thousands of others have gotten into content, ran dungeons, gotten loot, gotten BiS. You can do it do, the only thing stopping you is your own ability or inability, to go in there and put forth the effort to do it.
Im not trolling, im just telling you the truth, if that makes me that, then i sure am one for telling you the solution to your problems are already in the game. Stop complaining about it and just go do it.
Sure RDF was the last patch of Wrath. Wrath didn’t have RDF for 26 more days than it had Wrath though, which makes it a pretty large feature of the expansion.
I mean… Sounds like you’re just forcing yourself through the motions at this point, would it really be so bad to just take your fond memories of OG wrath and just move on to a different, better game?
I haven’t found one that I enjoy as much as I did OG Wrath, that is the issue. Ashes of Creation is a hopium, the Riot MMO is a hopium. I was hoping Wrath Classic would have filled the void waiting to see if those would fill it but its not working.
Reject modernity, embrace tradition, take the boomer pill and play old school games, embrace runescape classic.
I tried going back to EQ during my break from TBC but even on the locked Planes of Power server, it didn’t do it for me lol.
Honestly, after the dumpster fire that was TBC, I don’t know why anyone expected anything from wrath. Permanent layers, blizzard allowing megarealms to form, terrible pvp changes that trickled down to all sorts of areas of the pvp systems, the ABSURDLY hastened content release… People back then were high on copium, saying “they’re just speeding it up so we can get to wrath faster”. Yeah right buddy, and that 1 week raid and pvp season content release window isn’t indicative of a rushed wrath expansion to come either.
I think a lot of that also has to do with blizzard is not sure what the hell they wanna do with classic.
They got a golden goose leying eggs and they are just kinda throwing them at the wall right now not really sure what to do with it. Like do they want it to be a 1 to 1? do they want it to be like a Classic+ where they fix thigns they wanted to fix from before, do they want to have like seasons in it?
It was pure hopium.
IMO megarealms exist because there was no RDF and people would rather have a large pool of players the chose from than care about server identity.
