China tells game companies to stop focusing on profit

Because they’ve specifically said that they don’t care how long people stays online.

That alone it’s a good sign.

Eh, I still don’t like their store.

But it is still far more acceptable than most western game stores for reasons I stated.
And because it is clear that the money spent in the store is actually going back into the game.
Game has only gotten better with time.
WoW has gotten worse as the store has gotten bigger.

American companies only care about money, nothing more.

Yeah cause u dissapear mysteriously if u try one.

U mean force their point of view on people. Or they die

If u have credit card dept u would be a paria and couldnt even take the bus so well its all about point of view. Cause most American or people all around the world (Cause no one have 0$ spended on credit card) couldnt go do grocerie shopping

Yes ALL anime is japanese. And stop stretching I can hate Chinese food and not be racist as well.

I"d prefer to keep my violence in video games thank you now buzz off.

I don’t blame you if you seen what they put in the food in the restaurants you’d be sick.

It’ll affect the Chinese versions of the games, not the rest. China is still a major player in the WoW revenue pool, but Activision-Blizzard as a whole derives only ~14% of revenue from the entirety of the Asia-Pacific region.

I guess I have to tell my kids no more dbz. I have to hate cell games and Majin bu saga. You are nothing more than a troll.

Is that supposed to be a good thing?

Or if you “insult” the CCP like taking pictures of their Covid cover up.

I’m sorry. The guy you’re responding to has bad taste in games, but this is a stretch that rivals Micheal Jordan’s last stretch in Space Jam.

No, stretching feels good.

Yes, but you did not try compare liking chinese food to have poor taste.

Kinda chuckle when people talk how bad China is with their rules for their society, like their the freedom police of something.

Sounds like most of the “male” gamers on this forum tbh.

No need to be freedom police to know what a comunist society is.

Does not equate to racism at all. Nice try snowflake.

I wasn’t specifically talking about Blizzard with that. Tencent ownes a large swath of the gaming world.

Which was why I asked if they will still consider the Chinese market worth it if their cash shop gets hammered and they are required to drastically change game versions for this market.

Then why is anime a measurement of poor taste?
Why is it not ‘Oh, you like naruto? That must mean that you have poor taste’
I am open to be convinced, but thus far, eh.

Considering the things other mediums (read: movies) do to cater to The Motherland’s wishes, I’d say it’s a possibility.

Because he’s grasping for straws for a bad argument.

But by labeling him like that, you’re not helping.

EDIT: Also, Naruto is trash.
