Chicago Deep dish > NY Pizza

Pizzeria Uno, the actual inventors on Chicago Deep dish on the corner of Wabash & Ohio, is so filling, and has a crust that actually can be eaten entirely, and not left on the plate uneaten. The toppings are so piled on, that one could ligitimatly eat it with a fork. NY pizza is a floppy, doughy mess, the only issue with Uno, is that they’re in every major area in Florida except the Tampabay area.

You must try, with an open mind, Chicago Deep dish, and you’ll be won over too.

deep dish is not pizza.
Its a loaf of bread.

It can’t be bread when the crust is like a pie crust, just saying.

  1. Chicago deep dish is not pizza, it is a casserole.

  2. Eating pizza with a fork is heresy.

I eat it with my hands, as do most, but it can be eaten with a fork since its so loaded with goodness.

I prefer no pizza. Pizza is gross.

I’m with the OP on this one. Chicago Deep Dish over all!!!

Chicago has the best pizza.

NYC pizza is so thin. Barely anything on the thing.

Deep dish is so good. So much cheese. It drips off the fork and it’s just the best.

Both are good for very different reasons and provide different eating experiences. They both appear incredibly simple, yet are often absolutely butchered.

i love me some deep dish pizza, but its hard to find in my city, best most places have is “thick crust” which just aint the same.

But Detroit pizza is just a poor copy of Chicago deep dish.

Another person of taste and culture.

Don’t they have a Pizzeria Uno? They were the originals, and they’re a national chain.
