So true, and the generation that played original wow was less participation trophy generation in original vanilla than the generations that came to play the game later where everyone felt entitled to win.

The number of people who get a superiority complex from how much damage they do in a 20 year old mmo is kinda sad.
Calling other people trash, dead weight, etc. Honestly it reflects more negatively on that person that they talk about other people that way.
Could easily say they just don’t meet what I am looking for, but to call another person a trash human being because of their wow parses? Damn who hurt you?
I think I know who, but implying it gets you banned. I will just say a lot of projection going on.

Entitled casuals are ruining the world as we know it.
Anyone that cries about logs/parses are just bad at the game. You obviously don’t know how to play your class and just want to get carried for free.

Gnomer is too hard for pugs.
Have you considered pressing your buttons in the right order? Pretty easy to parse well when you don’t spend 30% of the fight standing around doing nothing.

This is fair, to a point.
The problem here is how you are punished for bringing “bad” people. If someone can’t do a certain mechanic, then you can’t finish the run, and due to the lockout ID’s being unique, you can’t just easily replace someone or go back in there later on with a new group, people would have to sacrifice their lockout which is something not many are willing to do, especially if they need something from a boss that is already downed or they have no guarantee that this group can even finish. So what does all that mean? People become extremely picky and gatekeepy, they don’t want their time or lockout wasted, I’m not defending these people, but I understand where they are coming from. It’s ultimately blizzard’s fault for how this stuff is designed and that its not being changed. You punish the players, and they will do everything they can to not be punished or minimize the punishment.

Calling others trash is bad, but calling a dead weight dead weight is just stating facts. In a group content, if you can’t pull your own weight, you are a dead weight. If a group with full of dead weight players, then that group is destined to fail.
