I lmao at people gatekeeping Gnomer, and BFD back in phase 1 by “checking logs”. You’re what’s wrong with the game.
Just ignore them and don’t respond?
At least they’re advertising at the start that they’re toxic, need carried, or stand in fire to DPS harder… or all three. You don’t have to find out in raid.
(This is also advertised by “PUMPERS” or “LF PUMPERS” Same thing.)
Just tried another shot at doing a no coms invite first come first serve pug like 15 mins ago on my alt and we wiped on first boss so I’m going to bed early lmao. He’s a disc priest I’ll just catch an AM guild run or something
hate the player, not the game.
Sorry. I don’t invite people that have green/gray parses. It just makes everything harder. I’m going to assume you don’t know what you’re doing if you cant do the bare minimum playing a very basic class.
I’m not gatekeeping. I’m making sure everyone in the raid isn’t having a bad time wiping over and over because people cant do things
do you check people’s mains logs if they say they’re playing on an alt or are alts never allowed in pugs
they’re not playing the main. who cares about their main?
well if you’re playing an alt you might not had the chance to parse or have no logs at all, and so people say “MAIN IS 6/6” in their lfg spam
how do you prove it’s your main and not just a random player’s main? we need RealID.
I don’t heal people that green/gray parse this phase.
Healing is simply not fun, why would I want to carry dead weight?
If you’re going to make an argument against checking logs to invite people to raid… perhaps don’t show an example where you don’t full clear and it takes the entire night to kill just five of the bosses.
they wouldn’t be dead weight if you healed them…
I think the problem is ppl trying to raid without coming prepared. If 100% of ppl came prepared and knew the simple fights if/and then “checking logs” would be toxic. It’s not toxic to want an efficent smooth and quick run. If you want to not clear 6/6 and be in there for 2+ hours like Ziqo then do it but don’t complain about it and come to the realization (just like Ziqo did on stream) it’s a reality check. Nothing in classic is hard, so get your crap together and don’t waste people’s time.
Really can’t understand why the casual masses quit the game.
Are you telling me people want their time to be used efficiently rather than wasted by people who refuse to do the bare minimum?
Or that the bare minimum is, in fact, not a 100 parse and is the equivalent of just hitting your buttons on GCD?
they might be dead weight, but you’re the one dead inside.
not a single raid on SoD, literally NO ONE is checking logs for 100s. They’re checking it for Blues mostly. My group tonight took a dude that’s basically never been in the raid b4 and we did just fine. But will we bring 50% of the raid like that? Heck no. Carry your weight. Tell me, what is making anti-log ppl feel so oppressed by that?
like how are people defending a bum mindset? Do better
No, people like myself just simply don’t have the time to be in gnomer struggling on simple mechanics for 4+ hours a night and want it to be done asap so I can go back to doing other things.
Apologies that we simply want to not waste time.
Right? Like I did gnomer last reset and didn’t check anyone’s logs. Worst mistake of my life because I had 4 people that either didn’t even know the fight, or were doing sub 8 parses on fire lock & fire mage. While also having their resto druid outdpsing a ret, warrior, and a melee hunter.
Is that fun for me? Absolutely not. The catalyst was when the tank popped death wish at 10 stacks of the burn on thermaplugg and just exploded
you’re dripping with importance at 1am on the wow forums…
Yes because you, and the majority of casuals who ruin peoples’ limited time due to things like jobs, are oh so special and deserve everything handed to them.
Pressing your abilities off GCD is hard.
