This weekend I fought many games in Alterac Valley and witnessed my own team members pulling the elite trolls and Korrak into the middle of the GY purposely trying to kill newly rezzed players in an obvious attempt to help the other side.
The Alliance has been using los bug or broken mechanic to pull The horde base camp npcs out of the area from the outside of the base and cap it uncontested.
I haven’t played much pvp or bgs in a long time but since I bought the expac I’ve been catching up and after all this time players still try and win at any cost is sad.
Where are the Devs monitoring the game?? Where are the bans from all the reporting??
Don’t tell me wow is no better than GW2 in pvp those Devs don’t do anything to blatant hacking and cheating.
Anyway never thought I’d see wow so rampant with cheaters meh.
Wait for a blue response as to going to the back of the horde base gy and jumping to use los and attack npcs to pull them out of the designated area if that’s acceptable or not before you post what YOU consider not cheating and act like your post is law.
Since when in MMO history is training mobs on players to kill them in any way acceptable or allowed?
What possible logic could you use to convince yourself that this is cheating…
Do you think people didn’t CC/kite NPCs in original AV while people were capping nodes?
Jumping up the backdoor spots by the waterfall for the Horde base or on the small hill next to the south bunker for the Alliance base also isn’t cheating in case you thought it was. It’s just how the terrain in the original map is and using it strategically and then trying to cap their base GY/towers early is a smart strategy and not cheating.
The other scenario you described also isn’t cheating, but it is griefing.
The only cheat I know of rn is blooddrinker. If we go to AV the raid leads tell people do not use it or get booted. One dweeb didn’t listen and argued before we even started, so he got the boot.
Neither of those things are cheating. You might have a case for griefing for the first one, but that’s only if they suddenly consider training mobs on people to be griefing.
