Chat Settings Question

Hey everyone!

Just wondering how I would change my chat setting back to their default’s in-game. My channels all got moved around and is making my macros not work correctly.

Chat’s affected:

  • General Chat got moved to /1 from /2.
  • Local Defense got moved from /3 to /4.
  • Newcomer Chat got moved from /4 to /1.
  • Trade Chat got moved from /2 to /3.

Any tips on how to fix this to their default settings much appreciated!

Full ui reset maybe.

Right-click your general chat tab, click settings.

Under the General tab at the top, click Channels. Drag and drop your channels to your desired numbers.

Repeat as needed for the other tabs, such as Loot/Trade instead of General.

Not sure if you’ve got any RP add-ons installed? I know I’ve had the TRP broadcast channel bork up things now and again, shuffling the proper numbers around. Normally just dragging them about like Ekon mentioned will fix it, but then it’ll sometimes go wonky again.

Honestly didn’t know that was a thing. Actually solved a niggling issue on one of my toons. Cheers!!
